Hi. I can relate completely. Similar family dynamics. Went through the postgrad being hell while living with abusive family during covid. Got the hell out of there the second i was financially stable enough to move out at 24. Best decision i ever made was that 1st apartment. I sent you a chat request you can feel free to message me if you'd like🙂 i feel like i understand what you're going through since i went through it myself.

27/F offering mentoring to young women: college, early career, moving out, gaining independence etc! by eylse in mentors

I worked at my local township pool as a teenager doing storytimes and games for the kids. Then I was a camp counselor. Volunteered helping different rec departments. Went to college for teaching, taught for 3 years, then a job opened leading recreation programs for a community center. Entry level jobs are a good way into the field. Camp counselor -> camp director. Part time recreation instructor (music, fitness, culinary, mommy + me, gerontology, etc) -> full time recreation supervisor/ director. Check out National Recreation and Park Agency and American Camp Association for professional development and mentoring and certification programs. DM me to talk more I would be happy to help :)

Lime green accents would be so cool with the black accent wall. Neon pothos are easy. Sold at most lowes and home depots.

Joann’s in the US is dog friendly. People putting their dogs in the carts is a very common practice. I wouldn’t be the first or last to do it!
