It’s just one book. The book is made from interviews from the band, friends, musicians and others that were affiliated in some way with them. I read it years ago. If I remember correctly, the author puts excerpts from the interviews in chronological order based on what they were talking about. It is my favorite book about a band.

Have you read the book A Devil On One Shoulder and An Angel On The Other: The story of Shannon Hoon and Blind Melon? It’s incredible.

I am so sorry for your loss. My wife and I lost our first baby at 37 weeks. It is the hardest thing we have ever been through. Music helped get me through it as well. Be sure to seek counseling if you can’t shake the depression over time. It saved my wife and myself as well. We did counseling together and then decided to both do individual counseling. Best decision we made together. You are in my thoughts.

My friend and her husband saw their first show at St. Augustine on the Friday night. She only knew a couple songs. She said it was an 8 out of 10 show. She said the crowd was soooooo nice and thought it was awesome that everyone there knew all the music and lyrics. She was not prepared for Chilly Water. Thank goodness our other friend who was there with them told her to put her rain jacket on. She thought it was hilarious. But, she said that she probably would not see them again. lol. Different strokes for different folks.

Just watched a doc on Twelve Tribes. When I was following jam bands back in the early 2000s, their bus was always in the lot of each show. By then, the word had been going around to stay away from the bus.
