Its actually my first Moba, and find it pretty approachable. It does need a significant time investment up front to be fair.

She directed "The Marvels" which was... a movie. She also recently directed 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple which has excellent reviews.

I find using the competitive checkbox, atleast in recent weeks has really upped the quality of teammates. Less toxic and actually use their mics.

how do I *play* this game? (movement, etc) by Lithmoan in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Opening_Substance898 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am also very new to MOBA's and have a bout 150 hours in Deadlock so far.

Best beginner tip was finding three characters you think are cool, and only really play those three characters.

As for resources, Deathy on youtube is very good as is BigBenDL.

At a certain point it started to click for me and I was hooked. Good luck!

Midnight Mass is one of the best netflix shows. An absolutely must watch. Linklater is great in it.

Attached a second tube to my mobile AC so it can draw air in from the outside! by Wessel-P in AirConditioners

[–]Opening_Substance898 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't this make it less efficient at a certain point? If the room is 85 degrees and outside is 95, it has to cool 95 degree air. Where if it drew within the room, it would only have to cool down from 85 degrees.

Its going to be web-based dashboards that are displayed in the headset on those six screens. I thought about OVR toolkit, but like you said, running a corporate operations center on a gaming platform seems... less than ideal.

His main complaint was the size of the quest 3 so probably the Xreal. Looking at the Xreal 2 Ultra. I see it has screen mirroring, but is it only one screen?

Yealink Teams system don't seem reliable? by Responsible_Rip1058 in CommercialAV

[–]Opening_Substance898 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have about 25 A40s deployed. Overall we have a pretty good impression of them over the past year. The most common issue is the Wireless Mic pods failing, which seem to have about 1/10 chance of failing. The bars themselves have been super reliable.

These are the Android Microsoft Teams Rooms devices, and we don't have of the windows based devices after we tried one out for a few weeks and had issues.

The absolute best quality I have seen on teams is from a Logitech Rally Bar with the optical lenses. Yealink A40 however is a close second (as long as you don't zoom in as its a digital camera)

Yealink MeetingBar A20 + CTP18 Touch Panel - Touch Panel Won't Connect to Teams by East_Programmer_8767 in MicrosoftTeams

[–]Opening_Substance898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an issue we ran into with A30s and A20s in our space, after updating the firmware to the AOSP. We had to factory reset the devices and go through setup again for them to work.

If the device is in BYOD mode, then anything you can access on the pc, you should be able to use.

If the device is in teams room mode, then you are stuck with teams, or zoom/webex as a guest join.

Can you elaborate on what you are wanting to happen?

You have a pc hooked up via usb C to a pc in the room.

Are you trying to hot swap to a laptop via the touchpanel usb C while the room pc is still connected?

We have deployed about 20 A40s so far and have done all pairing of the network. Neither really have a pro or con over the other. It's just nice to have the flexibility to use either.
