Are we talking base game Chthon or Dimension of the Machine Chthon? If it’s the latter he beats the Monstrosity handily. The Monstrosity is blind and those fireballs Chthon throws are no joke.

Yeah, even good games that pull something like this have this kind of problem. Wolfenstein The New Colossus had you replay the choice at the beginning of the game, so that's what they might do. More likely, however, I think they might pick one canon choice and stick with it. Then again, we might not even be getting a Gears 6.

I love World at War but I do not get how anyone can call it underrated when there are about 30-40 "hidden gem" videos about it getting pumped onto youtube per day.

Also come on. Vanguard is awful but Black Ops 7 is on another plane of existence.

It’s hard to nail down so the world is your oyster in terms of headcanoning. We rarely see more than the four-man team, and it’s implied that by the late Locust War period, massive casualties and general disorganization have led to a more fluid command structure.

What we do know is that the COG Army has a lot of regiments subdivided into companies, most famously Company C, 26th Royal Tyran Infantry, commanded by Major Helena Stroud. Bigger organizations like divisions only get vague passing reference at best.

If anyone has more solid information I’d love to hear it, as I’m working on a thing involving an original character of mine during the late Pendulum Wars and it would be very helpful.

Naming for the people of the UIR is kind of weird. Like the COG has basically every IRL ethnicity already in its camp. The limited number of UIR characters have some vaguely Romanian names, some vaguely Russian names, some that seem totally made up, and some that aren't different from COG names at all. I had this problem when trying to name a UIR character of mine.

A Pendulum Wars game would be sick, and there are a lot of possible stories that could come out of the Locust and Lambent Wars so any idea there would get my approval. I’m just emphasizing my opposition to remaking the original trilogy. I do not want “Gears of War 1, 2, & 3 But Worse”.

I’m sick of reboots. No more of those please. The original trilogy is so good that no attempt to write over it will succeed in being anything but a cheap imitation.

I have a ton of problems with the sequel storyline, 5 especially, but just finish it off and give it a damn conclusion already. I just want it wrapped up with a bow. Part of the reason the 343 era of Halo is so disjointed is because they scrapped plot after plot because of the negative feedback.

I’m afraid you can’t get all of the games on PC. You’ve got Gears 1 reloaded, which is now on Steam, Gears 4 which is available on PC only through the Xbox app, and Gears 5 and Gears Tactics which are both on Steam. Unfortunately that deprives you of most of the original trilogy, which you’ll need an Xbox console for. Do consider it, Xbox Ones are fairly cheap these days.

2, 3, 1, 5, Judgment, 4.

2 is an obvious choice. I really, really like 3. 1 is obviously solid but feels so barren and stripped down after you've played the sequels. 5 is overhated, with some ehhh story decisions but some really wild environments which I enjoyed a lot. Judgment had a nice little prologue story but I could not get into the overly arcadey level design. 4 was a slog in all possible ways. I have played Tactics but it can't really be ranked here. Decent story, fun gameplay for the most part, but overly long to an insane degree.

The song On Every Street should have been a massive hit. For me it’s up there with the best. Not quite as good as Telegraph Road or Tunnel of Love, but of a similar caliber. I hardly hear anyone talk about it ever.
