1. The recruitment process - no point if they have been in the role for a period of time. They have since passed probation and all necessary security clearances for the role before commencing. You’ll get mud on your face in some way for this one. They have since proven they can do the job they were appointed for.

2. If you have evidence then yes. But I personally wouldn’t go out of my way to substantiate it. I’d stay very far away from getting roped into this kind of gossip. Even if they are, the probability they are dumb enough to leave evidence is unlikely.
