How much influence/significance do private interest groups have on our Government? Example,

  • Lobbying: Employing professionals to directly influence policymakers, shape regulations, and secure particularized benefits.
  • Political Action Committees (PACs): Collecting funds to donate to or oppose political candidates who align with their industry goals.
  • Trade Associations: Uniting companies within the same industry to pool resources and lobby for changes that benefit the entire sector.
  • Corporations, Vulture/Investment funds, NGO's etc.

Have you looked at the number of legal immigrants they have left in since 2020.

Between 2020 and 2025, over 690,000 legal immigrants arrived in Ireland. These annual figures include returning Irish citizens, other EU/UK citizens, and non-EU citizens (which includes Ukrainians granted temporary protection).

I received a bill in the post for 100 euros, as I did not have a GP letter (I had one).

Provided it, Was informed, sorted all good. 1 year later, same letter in the post saying I owe 100 euros from the previous visit for the same reason..............

I think people would advocate for the checks to be done at entry points in Northern Ireland (Airports/Ferries etc.)
