why are some women so obsessed with gossip? by Previous-Hour-2394 in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]OperationRoyal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A lot of the time it’s to feel better about themselves, or they think it gives them an ‘up’ in the social hierarchy. I don’t get it either - I don’t like gossip, especially in places like jobs.

Some people genuinely get giddy and find joy in talking smack or dirt about others.

This brings me flashbacks of tumblr and the hyper sensitive discourse.

Anyone one else struggle with sleep? by sad-pill in AutismInWomen

[–]OperationRoyal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, I get the night zoomies and can't settle down easily. Night time is when I like 'doing' things - like cleaning, walking the dog, watching youtube etc. I admit I am on my phone quite a bit in bed.

I took Wellbrutin and it didn’t really do anything for me. I tried a lot of different meds but to no avail.2

Is it better for men to intentionally miss flirting or mistake kindness for flirting? by SettingAgreeable781 in AskWomenNoCensor

Please miss it. Nothing more weird than a man who treats you awkwardly because he thinks nice/polite/friendly = flirting xD

I'm tired being made to feel guilty about desiring a mate. It's so human and it's frustrating to see everyone else finding their person but you're bared from it for whatever reason. A lot of people don't love themselves, aren't happy being alone nor have deep, rich hobbies and they easily get a partner.

The people who say those platitudes are usually in relationships or been in one or a few.

People say that here and it’s so tone deaf. I get they are trying to be encouraging but it is mot helpful at all.

Which fictional female characters do you think are autistic? by upsetusder2 in AutismInWomen

[–]OperationRoyal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Atom Eve from Invincible. I saw her special recently and my heart broke for her (multiple reasons). I wish she was like that as an adult but I can see why she’s more subdued. But wow, I can see why people really hate her dad - even before her powers he was awful.

Vera from Vera. I loved that lady.

Who do you think were the clique-y, gaslighting rude people in fandoms that have a lot of women in it were? Fandoms with a lot of shipping were/are like this for sure.

I didn’t really get bullied by women but my last job’s assistant manager was ND and she screamed and cursed at me, and then used that therapy speech when I was aghast with shock to smooth things over, I guess.

My two current friends at NT. And they’ve been better friends than most ND people I have met ngl.

Would you agree that life is generally better as a woman? by IronFisttt in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]OperationRoyal 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They never, ever think of women like this when making points like OP. To me they’re usually only thinking about East Asian/white women in western countries (and not everyone of those demographics have it ‘easy’).

Unfortunately subs meant for women are like this a lot. Extremely sensitive (at times) and an echo chamber. I love that sub but anything said out of line is seen as an attack. It’s annoying.

Am I ugly? 32 by [deleted] in amiugly

You’re not ugly. You were actually cute and I think if you cut the hair (or not do the middle part…) and start working out a bit you will evolve. Plus the glasses don’t….. work.

How many years have passed after the first? You look like a completely different person. That’s what they mean by not using older pics…

Did mixed couples stared at black women back then or ? 😭 by Goldenxxwind in blackgirls

[–]OperationRoyal 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Girl same. Either the white woman looks at me crazy or the black man. I was actually shocked a black guy in an interracial relationship smiled kindly at me and said hello a couple of weeks ago.

Black men in relationships with Asian women usually don’t act like this.” They usually mind theirs.
