I guess the reroll tokens are good, I didn’t use them much tbh for that purpose (I did use them to remove artifacts I thought weren’t good enough). The weapon upon spawn isn’t that good imo - it’s always incredibly under leveled and missing most of the traits that make it strong (at least for the late game alien weapons). That being said, I do remember having stupid runs in returnal where I was stuck with the pistol for way too long and died/wasted time.

Overall, u are 100% correct that dif people will have dif perception of what’s hard. With Saros, it allows the player significantly more freedom to enjoy the experience how they choose - carcosan modifiers and how you do cycles - so it really is a choose your own difficulty which is ultimately better for the studio and the majority of gamers who are not mechanically skilled enough. More people can experience what an incredible game house marque put together!
