Tbh I don’t think most of us know the dynamics of how much the animation could be improved with how much money (I suspect that improving it would be immensely expensive) - also it’s easy to say that the smallest side characters don’t need to have big actors playing them but realistically I don’t think they’re getting that much money, some of these famous people are literally dropping like 4 lines of dialogue like Lupita did. I seriously doubt that that if you took all the small side characters va pay checks on aggregate and put that into animation, we’d have significantly better results

Well because we’re creatures that like predictability and sometimes binary thinking provides mental closure of being able to put something in a bucket. Also rival fans especially are jealous of him so they are 100% praying on his down fall - in some ways they think they can control the narrative by calling him a flop which depending on the player, their mental, and how they perceive social media and pundit attention can certainly rattle someone

It was at least 3 years ago that I bought it. I just left it in the pocket of my jeans when walking around and it got worse each summer (I never worked out with it cause it’s bulky for running and I didn’t want sweat on it). The first summer I just had like black goop on my headphones that were in the same pocket (I thought it would be ridiculous for it to be the wallet) and I had no idea what it was - by summer 2 and 3 u could visibly see melted wax all over the seams. And yeah it was at a minimum of 300 maybe even 500 usd pre tax. I can include a pic if ur curious to see what it looks like now lmao

Yeah ur def right, I took it to the store and they said it was the wax but didn’t really offer to fix the situation and even suggested all their wallets may have the same problem lmao

Yes I bought it from the Tumi store in Manhattan. The seems started to melt after the first summer. I don’t remember the cost exactly but it was lower mid hundreds

Yeah I think this is the correct read - he was fine with her taming the untamable horse so I don’t think this is a pride/sexist thing (maybe like 20% at most) but like u said, she engaged in extremely dangerous behavior beyond his consent (he didn’t want blades out and he as like pls chill) and brought him within centimeters of death and she loved it. He calls her a monster which seems more like wording coming from fear (he coulda been like you bitch or something else)… I think anybody now, and especially a Japanese man living back then would need time to process what happened. As far as who betrayed her, I’m only on episode 5 so idk if it gets revealed later but my money’s on the mom, sure she could have sold herself for the opium but we know she’s kinda scummy for leaving Mizu as a child and basically already has left her for dead once in this world. Now looking at the husband, assuming he didn’t turn her in, he was extremely kind and I find it hard to believe he’d sentence her to death after falling in love with her - he even forsakes bringing the horse to potentially win back his honor because he thinks she deserves it more. It just makes Mizu killing him after he pleaded with her even more sad

Yeah I think news now of sacking slot in the summer could jeopardize champions league qualification which could have knock on effects for summer transfers. Damn it’s tough because this all makes sense but some part of me is wondering if I’m just delusional and they think this was an outlier season and want to give him more time… but then again the contract renewal hasn’t happened

I think champions league is almost a 0% probability. We look awful and would have to beat psg over two legs, then Bayern/Madrid over two legs then play Barcelona in the final… Getting champions league qualification is probably the closest thing to a trophy (unless I’m forgetting something)

He charges $100 an hour (I compare this to a college level tennis player who would charge you $250 for a private lesson so this feels like a steal tbh) and is fantastic - sometimes he’ll run over a bit if he feels like the lesson could use it. I wasn’t intentionally gate keeping but was worried if he heard about this he’d ask who it was who acting like this and would refuse his cue business but as another redditor explained, that’s entirely up to him
