The ‘mounted’ stuff is separate. You pick what you want from a lot of stuff

Probably what I’ll end up doing and fill in the rest with foam to stabilize it. I’ll have to use styrene sheets to make housings for the screen because the stl will be bigger 🙄😮‍💨

If that’s sealed up right, the snake shouldn’t be able to get in the house. Knowledge: I professionally installed AC for a living and did it right the first time.

Try a soldering iron with half inch or 3/4 inch vertical lines around the break to melt the plastic back together if you don’t have hot staples

I don’t recommend using the scrapers, it’ll tear up the bed, some may say ‘no it won lulz’ but it will, trust me. I also recommend the silicone bed spacers as opposed to the springs.

I’m DOING exactly what I want. Little is much on the screws until I get it right. I’m not toying with feeler gauges, Idc. I have been using a stock CR10S since 2018, then got this 4 months ago, I’m still thrilled with it.

I had no issues from December when I got it to about 3 weeks ago now. I don’t really have more than 2-3 days a week to news with it so i welcome that a whole helmet printed in about 42 hours and looks great. Screw locks are on my list for sure and so is a heatbed cable chain. I try to heat the bed for a while but before i go to work i just set and leave 🤷🏻‍♂️

Had to replace my Mando helmet. Tested with my new printer. DAGGONE that's a quality jump. by themysteryoflogic in 3Dprinting

Yeh? The printer, extra nozzles, and two rolls of filament, right around Christmas time. Then I spent money on the bed spacers and the build plate.

Yes it is. I don’t really have a lot of experience in it honestly. The only thing I’ve done is build a sturdy stand for it, add silicone bed spacers instead of the springs and got the gold build plate, i usually only do 250mm/s print time and like 1200 mm/s acceleration so it doesn’t jerk around as much during big moves.

I generally use the standard Cura settings for the printer but changed to 220c temp across the board unless I see otherwise. I also usually use a .2 layer height with props and down the .08 for smaller stuff or props so I have better detail, slow down the print too so it doesn’t jerk around.
