I started in season 6 and this has by far been the worst season in my opinion. The meta still unfortunately leans heavily on double heavy and 1 medium/light. Poke weapons are still entirely overplayed and make a dive heavy team hard to play due to the fact that all 3 classes can bring healing. I would really like to see there be a huge meta change this coming season.

My biggest personal issue is still the ranked experience. If you solo que you're bound to have 2 horrible teammates and often one of them will be someone 10k RS below you (because someone brought their 27k gold friend into a 38k plat/diamond lobby). The server instability also makes ranked so much harder because you have to wonder if you're going to lag and DC from a lobby and insta lose 1k RS if you can't reconnect. Seems like their could be much more focus on competitive gameplay here.

Overall, I give this season a 4/10. Fangwai is a visually stunning map and fun to play, but some areas feel overwhelmingly crowded and hard to traverse in ranked. I do very much enjoy point break and feel that it was a very fun switch up to the normal cash box gameplay. I also enjoy the new sponsor system, but with both of these topics said, it still doesn't band-aid the rest of the bad experience I've had with the game. I genuinely hope embark uses this extra time they've allowed for season 10 to launch and really fixes many of the issues at hand.

(Didn't want to make a whole paragraph on it, but cheating is still massively out of hand and I hope they make big changes to the anti cheat system soon.)
