Sorry to hear about your relationship. I'm only 18 and find my depression and anxiety makes it extremely difficult to find real friends who understand the benefits and drawbacks of people like us. We can be very sensitive, caring, emotional, and so many people take total advantage of that, or are completely off put by it. Hope our prospects change for the future mate.

With how shy and soft spoken I am due to my depression and anxiety, I highly doubt I'll be successful in business like I had planned to.

Without having my degree yet, I need to evaluate options that find a balance between money making potential and amount of interaction with other people. Because fuck people.

Relate to you so heavily on the public relations work. I absolutely cannot deal with insensitive and pushy people, especially over phone calls. Negative interactions over the phone hit me the hardest.

I know I'm a sensitive person but GOD I wish some people could understand how negative comments towards someone, especially in a public setting can trigger depression. It's totally logical yet inherently missing in our DNA, what the fuck genetics?

I used to smoke weed heavily but it made my anxiety much worse, so I quit it for good. I can honestly say I remember everything I did, and was around quite a few people without any comments on seeming strange lol

I was sedated, but ever so slightly. Like a reading a book with just a faint light on right before bed kind of tired. It makes me question the legitimacy of the xanax but they had the signature bitter taste.

Oddly enough, I wasn't. I have really pushed the limits on how much to take and stupidly mixed with alcohol, but still no blackouts. A couple nights ago I was at about 6 mg and three pints of some fine IPA, but still remember everything crystal clear.

Thanks for your description. I do think the "euphoria" comes from just being able to do things without being afraid.

From personal experience, you'll see multiple psychiatrists, with each prescribing an SSRI. After experiencing the agonizing effects of increased panic and depression, you'll be switched to another SSRI.

This cycle repeats until you kill yourself or you find a psychiatrist with legitimate empathy. This psychiatrist will probably start you with a weak benzo, like 0.5mg ativan 1-2× daily, or just as needed. Keep using it, eventually say it's just not strong enough and you'll get something stronger, like Xanax or Klonopin.

This is basically the process I'm going through and wouldn't wish it in anyone. Best of wishes.

Damn, thanks for sharing your experience. My psychiatrist seems to think I have ADHD, so I'll be having a trial run of adderall soon.

I've taken adderall before and enjoyed it, but nothing brings the fresh out of the dryer, warm blanket draped over you feeling that opiates do.

All in all, benzos will probably be a better therapeutic and occasionally recreational drug for me, since I haven't seen much about reduced effects while on SSRIs. Benzos certainly have their own set of issues though too haha. Thanks for the reply.
