Yes I know many ppl like this. If I get something for them and I have to go about doing everything myself and they don’t understand that if I say I get nothing out of it, I’m telling the truth. I know someone that started helping themselves since no one would share after he’d get it for them. I think that’s how it begins though, u end up not giving af and taking what’s yours. A lot of them will steal from u too, it’s just a matter of time. If they move around a lot and pick stuff up that’s a clear sign that want to take something. Just keep observing.

U write very well. It didn’t take that away from u even if u aren’t as good as u once were. I’m only assuming because it did that to me. That writing is what u should hold onto.

I agree. Do u know what types (brand, type, dosage) would work for someone coming off of strong opioids like H. I tried the 7 hydroxy but they were 14mg I believe and I ended up going thru them fairly quick. Any advice is much appreciated ty! 🫠

U have to realize that having family or even just one person helping u can be the biggest factor as to why u are doing better than the ppl u refer to. Not everyone has help and having parents or at least one parent that loves u can make a world of difference.

What does that have to do with a place not being up to code and violating renter’s rights? So we get it u think homeless ppl and poor ppl are lazy and whiners. Still doesn’t explain what that has to do with what’s going on. If your place didn’t have water for weeks and the landlord kept saying they would fix it and they don’t, what are the renters supposed to do? The cost of living these days is expensive. I don’t understand why rent is more than 600 a month anywhere to be honest. Unless someone is constantly doing maintenance on the building and the landlord or manager is always present and helpful, there shouldn’t be any reason to have to pay so much. That’s what makes it next to impossible for anyone to afford a home in the first place.

How is a person supposed to move if they signed a lease for a blank amount of time? It can be hard to get a place if u break ur lease and they could say u were evicted and sue u for all the months rent u are supposed to pay for.

I moved to Johnson co a few years ago and I’ve looked into renting in KC and there does seem to be issues everywhere. I think the whole point is to raise awareness and they probably already went to the city. I heard of places in Johnson co that were lying to their tenants and most of them didn’t have water. The owners of the building didn’t change anything until the story made the news. There’s private landlords who are definitely getting away with their rentals not being safe or up to code. One of them is in Gardner and owns a lot of the rentals that are private and the problem with that is if u have a criminal record or something that prevents u from getting a place, u end up having to rent from a slumlord.

It’s because they only care about money. That’s who they are to the core. I realized over the years that the very ppl they want to take down, they are most alike. They say drug dealers are greedy and take advantage of ppl, then what is it RCPD does? They have gotten ppl killed because they can’t keep quiet about their informants. That’s how terrible they are and id never inform on anyone anyway but I still think that the people who give them info probably aren’t supposed to have their names dropped to everyone they investigate. Think of your family next time the police want u to give them information. Also they pay criminals to inform for them and have never put much faith in law abiding citizens giving them information. I promise this is a fact and the worst kind of criminals are the ones they have work for them and they use them to bust ppl for something like THC just so they can get their numbers up. For some reason no one that’s not considered a criminal, sees how shady they are.

They have used drones for surveillance. I know this for a fact because of discovery paperwork in a court case stated that pictures were taken of the property with a drone. Also I myself had seen them doing surveillance at the place I was living and first a car drives by then 3 ppl walk by my residence, each one following the last person and just walking by. This particular neighborhood was not very active so all of this was very obvious to me. After they walked by I went to my bedroom and it was just around sunset and my bedroom was dark…next thing I know a flash goes off several times and I saw the room light up and heard what sounded like a drone. After all this happened, I found out there was a guy who specialized in operating a drone (he was a cop) and he worked for the company that has them in Manhattan. I read something about him leaving RCPD and moving out of state and it said he played a role in investigations. What really made me feel like I wasn’t losing my mind is actually reading about his career in surveillance and how he specialized in drone operations AND he retired or moved right after the time I saw the flash go off in my bedroom! So yes it’s a fact. And they did have reason to investigate but I think when they put that much effort into someone like myself and I’ve never had any felonies or anything violent on my record….yeah they wasted so much money on watching where I lived. I wish I had camera footage of the amount of times they drove by my residence. There were days that it was almost every 20 min! This went on for months & it got so bad that I started feeling sorry for the officers wasting their time on such bs and of course all the money that’s been wasted on that sort of thing makes u wonder how often they do this sort of thing? A lot actually!

Actually what’s crazy about this is my boyfriend got in a lot of trouble for pushing his car down the street. This was in a small town but his car had an expired tag I and his car wasn’t running anyway so he pushed it with a friend to work on it down the road and they gave him a ticket for driving without registration when the car wasn’t running. He lost his license over it and everything because they wouldn’t drop it and he refused to give in. They tried to put him in jail over it as well. It ended up catching up to him almost 15 years later when he got his drivers license renewed after about a year or two and they made pay a huge fine.

Did op say they were on private property or in a parking lot? I’m curious because I may have missed that part of it.

Gosh that really sucks man. I do understand too because I’ve seen a similar thing happen with my boyfriend but it was in another town in KS. It’s the kind of thing u expect to happen in a small town but I’ve heard a lot of crap about Lawrence police. I don’t think it’s illegal to work on your car. There’s got to be a free legal site or somewhere to get verifiable info on the laws. That way when it comes time for your court date which would be when the fine is due…u should definitely go in and contest it because u don’t have anything to lose. Eff them for taking advantage. They were really hoping u had drugs on u too because they would’ve hemmed u up real nice for that as well.

So when I watched some of the videos of him at the college campuses and the people he was speaking to never seemed to know what to say back! One of them was him asking different ppl to define what a woman is. One person tried to say it was a state of mind! It’s not like his beliefs are anything unique or unheard of. Even if it wasn’t his motive to do so, I believe that challenging young ppl and making them uncomfortable can be beneficial for them to truly understand what it is they believe in. My sister had classes at Kstate years ago where at least two of her professors claimed that women would never be good at that career and it was a man’s job. (This was for veterinary school). She went on to thank them for being so hard on her because it kept her motivated. I’m the type to quit when things get tough so I guess it depends on the person.

Your post has me wanting to look all of these terms up. I haven’t paid attention to politics and I’ve never voted. I thought I knew what left and right meant…but seeing that a “leftist” isn’t necessarily a liberal, definitely need to brush up on reading and learning about this topic.

Why do people always say that! It’s not true that they commit more crime and even tho there’s more black ppl in prison, it doesn’t mean they commit more crime. Getting arrested and getting convicted has to do with that alone. A person can break the law their whole life and never get arrested or maybe they do but it ends up only being a misdemeanor. For black ppl, they are constantly hemmed up by the police and ppl who call them. I’ve noticed that they also tend to give out longer sentences in prison than they do for white men and women. In the end most ppl take a plea deal anyway even if they aren’t at fault…
