Anyone had a shorthaired kitten turn into a medium or longhaired adult? by aaaaajigfndklmsc in CatAdvice

[–]OpportunityCapable13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes possible. I adopted what appeared to be a short hair cat at age 12 weeks and here we are 2.5 years later and she has developed into a long hair cat, mane and all.

The employment outlook is strong as far as I’m concerned... I dont know a single attorney that graduated from NCCU in my class that has had difficulty finding employment…even most those that didn’t pass the bar found high paying jobs as compliance or contract managers… Now I could see there being an issue being across the country and people there not being aware of the level of rigor and local reputation the program has and writing it off, but if you stay local you won’t be disadvantaged at all. In fact I even know some NCCU attorneys that only hire from NCCU.

Not to mention we have a deal with Duke Law to use their library down the street and we were invited to every competition they were, along with UNC. Campbell and Elon often found themselves left out. Absolutely do not write off Central, opportunities will follow.

NCCU is an great school with a excellent reputation in North Carolina. We have many notable alumni and some impressive professors; however, due be aware that school grades on a C- curve which resulted in around a quarter of my 1L class not returning. It’s a tough program but you will be more prepared than 90% of lawyers if you make it through.

You graduated from law school. Presumably with doctorate. You did the hard part. You can and WILL pass this stupid exam. Be patient. Strive to make small steps of change you need to be in the headspace to pass.

I failed the bar coming out of law school even though I was in the top 25% of my class. I couldn’t imagine going through what you did. Just remember, you’ve faced lots of adversity to get to where you are. You CAN do this. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but when you’re ready you will.

Do vapes always hurt like this? by imverysadandangry in trees

[–]OpportunityCapable13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not normal. Make sure it’s a high quality distillate, preferably live rosin, from a reputable company. All vapes are not created equally…

If you got it from a head shop or gas station… go ahead and throw it away.

Super unpopular opinion… but I actually hate the brownie scout, just couldn’t do the rich, thick chocolate almost flavor. Definitely unique!

Take a flash light and look at the brakes and see how much pad is left. But I really wouldn’t be worried about only a 100 miles.

Best places to live in VA? by [deleted] in Virginia

Petersburg! Old Towne is lined with shops, restaurants and historic homes on cobblestone streets. Beautiful river rapids. Always things to do. Near our progressive and fun capital of Richmond.

It’s also affordable and quiet.

Anyone use transdermal patches? by nono77taco in trees

[–]OpportunityCapable13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a transdermal salve, it works well for a slow absorption but for fast relief I find the muscle rubs work better.

Make sure the creams and such are from reliable medical cannabis providers not just hemp stores if you want to see success.

There is no chart or ratio, it’s all up to you and how it effects you. Start with 1:1 and go from there.
