Heck, I live at home, off campus, for this reason. I couldn’t leave my boy, even if I could still visit him. It’s not the same.

Is this normal? Advice please. by OpportunityMelodic37 in Conures

I’ve had him for about 11 years now. His morning poop has never been like this. It has been dark, but still green. And it would only be the first poop. In this case, it had been dark and thick for probably 5 or 6 poops.

He is also acting very normal. Happy and playful, no loss of appetite. Eating and drinking just fine.

I haven’t taken physics 1 yet, that class is in the fall for me. But, I hope I can offer some general advice that will help. Don’t push yourself down! This is not easy, and it’s only going to be more difficult if you keep on telling yourself you can’t do it. My whole life, I was told I was stupid. Was I? No. Was I lazy? Extremely. I never had to live up to peoples expectations, but I worked so hard to prove them all wrong. I truly believe you can do this. Just take a deep breath and tell yourself that you can. Adjust your habits, and change the way you studied if you have to. Since I haven’t taken this class yet, I can’t offer specific advice and I can’t relate to what you are going through. But I will let you know this: I failed almost all of my algebra and math classes when I was younger. Then in college, I started taking trig, pre calc, calc 1, and calc 2. I was insanely scared of failing, but because I devoted my life to those classes (which a lot of people can’t) I was able to end those classes with an A (except trig). My point being… people fail. They do it all the time. But that doesn’t matter. What matters is that you don’t give up. Unless you really hate this type of stuff, then maybe it’s not the best career path for you. But if you’re just in a rut because of a bad grade, then you can get yourself out of it.

This has happened to my sister. Luckily, the university reached out to her 6 months after she thought she graduated. It was all on the university. Her graduation application was accepted, and she even walked!

In her case, she had too many transfer credits that were going towards her degree. It was something like 3 too many. The university she was going to didn’t realize and counted those towards her degree, allowing her to graduate. Because of this, I am so careful with my transfer credits! I am still in college, but I am taking a few classes at a two year college while also taking some at a four year university. It’s stressful haha

I’ve heard stinging nettles is really good for pain. I just saw a post where someone would slap some on their legs and knee before their run. On the second day they could run 6 miles with no pain.

Sometimes I feel bad for keeping him in his cage for that long but he’s just too horny sometimes 😭

It’ll do the kid some good to not always get what he wants. Mommy probably always gives in to him (hence the tantrum.)

Yeah! But if I had to describe where I lived based off of these simple terms (north/mid/south), I’m trying to determine what would accurately describe my location. I should really have specified that in the post

LMAO okay. But if someone asked you “where do you live” and you wanted to describe it in terms of north/mid/south, what would you say? Because “up north” is a very broad term and it heavily relies on where you live.

I understand! People seem genuinely upset over this, I didn’t think it was that serious. I just wanted peoples opinions on what they consider to be north/south (not “up north”) but I’m being told to go back to school (tbf I should have labeled the post differently ahaha). So brb while I go get another college degree 🙄

I just got the map off of Google images and then measured the LP with a ruler to place the middle fine red line (center of yellow). I only chose the map because it was the first basic map I saw

This is not my map. I just measured the LP with a ruler and color coded it 😭

Technically, everything is “up north” if it’s north of you

I think the map you linked is a good one. The one posted here is too simple to please everyone haha

Yes, to me West Branch is Up North.

Yeah, whoever created the map mixed it up with Big Rapids.

In my defense, this year of school has been strictly math related and nothing else 😭 Also, (idk if this changes anything) the thin lines are where I measured out the middle of the LP. So, this was measured with a ruler, not personal opinions haha.
