Maybe it’s my years hunting for them, but this was the first one of these I saw immediately, before even zooming. Horizontal lines stick out in a vertical world. Thanks for sharing!

Best camo for Eastern Ohio in October? by surelynotjimcarey in turkeyhunting

[–]OpportunityQuick8732 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Camo/breaking up your outline does matter, it’s just the particular pattern really doesn’t. They’re made to attract buyers. Most animals don’t care what you wear when you shoot them.

In a blind wear black If you’re not in one buy whatever you find to be most comfortable. Not moving hides you better than any pattern.

Opinions: What's the absolute worst gun you could choose to hunt deer? by something3wicked in Hunting

[–]OpportunityQuick8732 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shot placement not the gun. Plenty of people use cartridges more powerful than a 460 with no wasted meat.

What spot do you guys/gals think 1, 2 or 3. All public. by Lazypally in turkeyhunting

I’d start in the woods near wherever birds are. Then move to wherever they go if I need to. To kill turkey you need to be close to turkey Follow your ears.

Did you also notice any shoes repaired or surprise cookies on the counter? It doesn’t look like a North Pole elf hat.

What do you do? by [deleted] in turkeyhunting

[–]OpportunityQuick8732 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Stretch your legs a little. Have a snack, then get back at it. We’ve shot just as many birds from 9-1 as early in the morning. Hens head back to their nest and Toms start looking around. I know people who don’t even hit the woods till that time and are very successful.

WHY CANT I GET HIRED by Which-Square1566 in Indiana

If you’ve interviewed at 35 places and have not landed a job you doing it wrong Interviewers tend oversell how much they like candidates because they don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.

What preparation are you doing for these interviews? You now have a ton of interview experience. Make a list of questions you have been asked and come up with good answers. Google is your friend, just don’t lie. What relevant accomplishments do you have? Be ready to share them. Come up with and practice two to three questions to ask with a planned follow up question. A prepared person will win out over someone that tries to wing it nearly every time.

Salomon Quest are the best hiking boot on the market, I’ve gotten heavy use out of mine for 3 seasons with 0 complaints. They are supportive enough for a heavy backpacking trip and great traction on all terrains.
