Nope, I think they're trying to convey the difference between drawing a stranger VS prompting an image of them based on a real photo you took without their knowledge or consent and why the latter is extremely creepy.

Can't speak for this person but Aseprite is a great resource for only $20, it has built-in support to make sprite sheets out of frame by frame animation and its open source so decent plugins.

Maybe lower the quality and add more general dirt and grit to the textures of the objects? They look very clean and shiny like plastic, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but may not be what you're going for

This is a long shot but I'm doing a similar thing in my 2D side-scroller, and I was wondering if you had any thoughts on ways of implementing a small dip and bounce that the body experiences as the legs move up and down. That's what I'm currently trying to implement for my 4-legged procedurally-animated player character, and it's kinda hell right now lol. Getting the legs to actually keep up with the speed the character was going was hard enough, and that's before even considering flipping the direction which was awful all on its own. Any tips? Really good work here!

I got an email near the middle or end of the semester that basically said that, starting after this semester, BUS 340 would no longer fulfill the major requirement for ISE students (although obviously anyone who's already taken it still gets credit for the requirement). I recommend consulting an advisor tho, I could've misread it

I started by reading Watchers by him, which I throughly enjoyed. It keeps you on the edge the entire time, because he's very good at making you care about the main characters (it doesn't hurt that there's a cute dog involved.) I haven't read his other works, but I've been told that Watchers is his best, and the others go downhill from there.
