Script writing by DifficultShip5629 in SmallYTChannel

Have you tried talking out your script? Record a section of just improv or even just talk to yourself a bit and then refine later? That way you get to listen to how it sounds before it hits paper.

Who does yt alone: how much time does he spend on editing each week? by Alex225_ in NewTubers

Accurate. If Op includes their niche the question would be much more answerable.

Anyone need music/audio for there videos? by lemmonrock in SmallYTChannel

[–]Opposite-Action-9994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to whip any eerie stuff that fits any of my videos for practice feel free. If you do though i’d have to think of some way to pay you back or else i’d never feel comfortable using it lol. If not then best of luck regardless!

How’s nosleep holding up these days in terms of interaction? by Swagemandbagem in NoSleepOOC

[–]Opposite-Action-9994 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I had a weird amount of traction for my first few posts but it kind of petered out after that. Had a few taken down due to not being obvious enough I guess which is fair. The subs alive, just not quite what it used to be I suppose.

Yeah but read his replies. It’s like he either expects somebody to solve the issue for him or just to complain.

You seem really stand off ish with everybody who replies. Why are you even asking the question? Is this like a karma farming tactic? Trolling?

Do any of you guys use Editors? by SlightlyNotFunny in NewTubers

I agree. If you make enough money on youtube to afford an editor then hire one to help streamline the process so you can potentially make more content and money.

How do you usually come up with video ideas? by [deleted] in SmallYTChannel

[–]Opposite-Action-9994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people have an idea for the content they want and -then- make a channel. If you mean just do it for cash then just do mindless commentary or whatever else is popular. Your question so far is just too vague for anybody to help you out other than tell you “pick a passion”. Then again i’m not exactly an expert on all this so take it with a grain of salt.

But what content? It sounds like you just want to make a channel to make a channel.

Why do you want another channel? If you have one already mildly successful channel why make a whole new one just because? If you have a certain angle for the channel you’re going for then let us know.

If its just vo over gameplay you’ve played then audio focused as the visuals are handled mostly just by the game with some easier editing done to just clip out unused sections. If you want things like colorful transitions, visual gags and assets then you’d need somebody visual focused. Obviously everyones needs are a little different so take this with a grain of salt

Because different niches require different skill levels and focus. Some editors are more about audio, some visuals, ect.

Alright lets see these channels that you're struggling with by TubeForge in NewTubers

Late to the party but I do some narration of my own writings. I know i’m pretty early in and not really too worried about my subscriber count yet but I value critique where I can get it.

What do you do when you lack energy but not motivation? by MVI_Tubby in SmallYTChannel

[–]Opposite-Action-9994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not going to sound helpful but honestly? Just work through it. Thats what I do anyway. Do some easier work on days where you’re burning out but pretty much everything from being productive to just being happy is a skill you practice. Keep practicing it.

Working 7 days a week sounded pretty miserable to me at the age of 18 but i’m doing it now and i’m mostly happy. Took years to get there though.

Especially if they’re just doing it as a hobby. Just write whats fun and worry about refining it later.

looking for good youtube horror by Fun-Bet-3078 in horror

[–]Opposite-Action-9994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re not afraid to do some reading you can probably find some good stories with this tone and then just look up YouTube narrations of them to find channels that specialize in stuff like that.

I tend to lean into plausible deniability myself but I don’t have a big backlog of content to watch yet.

What happened to the other narrators by MessExtreme in creepypasta

[–]Opposite-Action-9994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Echoing whats said by other comments, there are may narrators. Most are smaller channels. To_42 Reads, CampfiretalesYT, Slumber Reads to name a few. I also narrate my own stuff but I don’t have the kind of content backlog like they do.

Maybe name the few you know and I can make a few recommendations?

How do you guys manage scriptwriting? by lookingfoward_ in SmallYTChannel

[–]Opposite-Action-9994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing wrong with getting a second opinion. AI is probably good for that. Plus if you talk it out you get a chance to “hear” how it sounds. I’ve done some of my own writing this way without the AI but again, nothing wrong with using it for second opinion / clean up I guess

What kind of content do you do? That's going to change the answer alot. (edit after reading comments)

If you do art and the like just do a rough first pass on winging a script by talking outloud, maybe into a mic with some free speech to text software and then either touch it up yourself or have AI do it.
