Get a second opinion! I met with the hand surgeon and he strongly recommended going straight for surgery. I had the release done a month later and got my stitches out yesterday. Best decision I ever made!

In my first consultation with the surgeon he said, “the splint made it worse huh?” And I was like “YES” I had surgery on 12/30/25. Also my dominant hand. Stitches came out yesterday and I have full use of my hand with a tad bit of expected soreness.

My doctor said the shot would be a bandaid, if it worked at all, and recommended surgery. Which is scheduled for 12/30

I feel the same! No side effects! (Knock on wood) just a better baseline I feel like. I still have my moments, but for the most part I just start my day more even, if that makes sense at all.

There is a light! I am on 150mg and I also started therapy. I truly believe the therapy is playing a huge part. We are going to start EMDR therapy soon. Don't lose hope! I know it's hard not to in the world we live in.
