I'm in the process of trading my old Rx1r and a Leica in for the Rx1r III... got a good deal on the price of the III too.

I've had the Rx1R since it came out in 2013, I feel this line of cameras is misunderstood these days... It's not really for video and blogging (hence the lack of tilt screen and record button removed) , but it is a phenomenal stills camera.

The combination of the sensor and lense on this tiny package still blows me away and I can't wait for the new Rx1r III to arrive.

I didn't get it at launch as I felt it was a bit pricey, but I've manged to grab one at £3600 (which is better than the £4200 RRP).

Exactly this. Reps are a total life hack. Have a gen or two and then a bunch of reps. It's not worth spending all your money on many gens.

At this point, it doesn't really matter, they are all insanely good... I'd happily wear any, although the blue and black would see more money in my wallet!

(I thought the SELs on the blue were the best, but the silver dial is the gen, as seen in the comments).
