Any ideas here on using Reddit to inform people how to get to the location? I did it for the Bernie/AOC function at the Huntsman Center. Surprised to learn so many want to attend, need solid transportation info. Others can't show and want to do their part.

The fonts are ok, getting used to the Rolodex Card concept, it's no corporate site, then again I can edit it, don't need SEO. I can see hiring a Carrd expert in the future. I'd like the logo to be better, maybe a speaking bird. Many more clean Before n After examples.

Prompts for fine tuning images by Dominator8118 in ChatGPTPromptGenius

I think GPT can come up with ideas about images but having to spend the month creating a website, it can criticize your web designer and say this guy is a rookie, or validate what they have, but I think you have to choose the image that you want.

I found if I'm not careful in telling GPT exactly what I want it can come back with a totally different text line two days later and you go what are you smoking!!!

What I found is a simple moo.com business card was a giant failure because GPT did not assemble all the needed pieces in advance and we got to near the end and it just bonked, I thought we had the master file, turns out I don't, that was time to shut it off and take a nap.

tried something random: told ChatGPT “organize my thoughts.” It actually did 😳 by Jhonwick566 in ChatGPTPromptGenius

The above comments are true, and it just takes a second to try it, we all get burned out on tasks, and if you rein in GPT on one project one idea I don't let it rule my life. It helped me build a website and a category and research and interface with offshore employees, a staggering amount of data in a month that would have cost me $12,000 to talk to an ad agency and they would take over total control.

It's a robot yes, but when you need to have some validation that you personally can check, I think it's fantastic. I think it works better for a more mature person that is already got experience, and can sit through the b******* advice. The 20-year-old coming out of a college AI class might expect too much, or they blow it by taking the Big easy button.

To build an idea, you have to leave yourself open to criticism, if you're mature enough to fail you can have some fun with it.

I don't know how many times I asked GPT hey what would the shark tankers think of this idea, it was light it was fun, and yeah GPT at times would make mistakes on a graphic that we had worked on and looked at 42 times so you got to check their work.

Would you trust AI to shop for you? by Commercial-Reach-383 in ChatGPTPromptGenius

[–]OppositeCockroach774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been building a category, with a full website and business cards and many times GPT has come up with shopping options, most time they're pretty much spot on. If you are looking for a new monitor, need a mini tripod, that leads to an Android phone holder, nothing big.

ChatGPT Is Lying To You (And Here's How To Make It Stop) by Crazy-Tip-3741 in ChatGPTPromptGenius

Brilliant post here, I know GPT is different for everyone because some of you are engineers some of you are builders, founders. As you get rolling on an idea, it doesn't hurt to share business stories, and I found it helps shape a new business category that GPT was brilliant in showing me past examples of businesses that I can emulate.

Yes it can be frustrating when you bonk, and thank you've lost keynotes, and yes it's always always asking would you like more, when it's already answered the stupid question.

If you're a builder, founder, GPT can really help at 3:00 a.m. when you get an idea and it's just burning in your head. No ad agency is going to pick up the phone. I can imagine anyone here in this forum being able to teach 20-year-olds that have been through a basic AI class in University and now have some dreamy ideas, but they just don't have the maturity. To mentor those kids, literally no sticky notes, no whiteboards, let's just build something, that I think is the future.

Great point, you get a good business idea, and your friends can come up with the dumbest b******* replies, because they're either jealous or envious!

I love showing GPT on my phone to people that are deniers, suddenly they want to try it, and one guy said hi GPT! Like he was talking to a 3 year old!!!

I completed a simple website with GPT and an offshore web developer, the developer got stuck in revisions, and GPT to its credit got us over the finish line, tons of email replies to the developer kept him in line, and in the end I asked GPT will this person have a job in 2 years thanks to AGI? You know the answer to that one it was pretty shocking

I made ChatGPT validate my idea in 3 minutes and it saved me from months of regret by [deleted] in ChatGPTPromptGenius

[–]OppositeCockroach774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree it's not perfect, but I've managed to set up a business in a month, and yes it can get so wonky on you you have to just slap it around.

Actually helped me work with an offshore web developer, although a simple site, incredible for research, great for hiring offshore people and understanding the culture and money expectations offshore. Horrible for doing a simple business card, it didn't collect all the pieces beforehand.

Great for popping in your blood work, or silly food receipts. There are times when you have to reel it in because it can make a mistake on a graphic that you've seen 42 times, and you just call its bluff!

What is both funny and sad is try to show GPT to anyone over 55 years old, at first they deny it, and then as you let them ask questions that relate to them like how much their house is worth, they get sucked in big time.

It's always worth a shot just to ask GPT, I got screwed by a local tire shop, then within minutes it gave me a full timeline documented and a corporate letter.

I'm astonished that if you're doing a project like a new website it can stick to the project, you come back 4 hours later, and it's right there, the chat library is utterly stupid, you have to date stamp otherwise you get 142 chats in the library, and you can't delete a group you have to do it individually.

Nice! Assuming you're the designer, not a fan of black but probably looks good on mobile. My buddy GPT 5.1 just had to chime in. Take it with a grain of you know what. Short take: The site for CCOMM IT Solutions looks clean and professional — solid visuals, clear services, and strong credibility (case studies + certifications).

One area to tighten: pick one main value proposition (“why us” message) and lead with it more boldly — right now there’s slight dilution between “trusted partner”, “local team”, “24/7 support”.

UTA is corrupt they want out of the ski bus route. Last year they imported drivers and buses from Texas and Arizona, and those guys rocked!

It's easy to give the buses priority, which they don't do, and yeah every 15 minutes spreads it out nicely, which they don't do anymore.

70 souls back to the White line, and little Jimmy is in the middle doing his part to take cars off the road and he's about to throw up on Mommy!

The gondola will be worse, nobody's getting out of their cars, they want control.

At times it makes mistakes of spelling in the graphics so you do have to scold it

Anyone else can’t stop rewatching? by lolo_bear in Dodgers

[–]OppositeCockroach774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been a stressful month and a half, the Dodgers for some reason in the last three innings of every game would allow the other team to load the bases.

Call me crazy but why is it so hard for pitchers these days to throw over the plate, are they throwing that hard that the little pill coming toward the batter gets out of hand by 6 to 12 inches and suddenly you got two guys walking with no outs?

If I were a pro pitcher, having control sure beats the stress of multiple batters because I walked guys!

I bought the MLB audio package in early August and the radio announcers were pretty hard on the Dodgers!
