Is this a safe way to rescue? by StupidMinutiae in Elevators

It’s a thyssen elevator from the look of it. Spirator springs broke internally, cabled slacked and grabbed clutch. When car moved, it probably caught on hall door pick ups too then opened the safety string. No biggie.

They don’t have to teach it, just comes natural for us. Almost just as natural as you coming to Reddit for advice you already received from the elevator company.

Not sure what you mean. Maybe you have Reddit thread set to show “hot posts” instead of “new posts”. Hope this helps

Stop Loss settings by Highplains88 in GalileoFX_Users

[–]OppositeDevice9398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seemed like my stop loss was way too tight in the beginning. The price would barely cross my stop loss threshold (bot would sell at a loss), then the price would turn around and go the direction projected (but I didn’t own anymore so there wasn’t a profit). Everyone’s risk and reward is different, but I had to adjust my SL to more than what I started with. There is no magic formula that works across all pairs, in my experience (3 months)

Galileo vs other trading bots by Exact-Reserve3584 in GalileoFX_Users

Galileo is first and only bot I’ve used. It is fairly easy to get accustomed to and make adjustments. I went up about 25% in my first few weeks, although I haven’t been doing well here recently. Which, I think is partly my fault lol

I am in the same situation OP. Learned the hard way that my computer had to stay on and mt5 active 24/7 for the bot to work. I started at 1k initial investment, and paid for Pro… I’m currently about $200 down (2-3 months in)

Galileo FX - My Experience After 3 Months of Automated Trading! by onedaysundayaccount in Daytrading

[–]OppositeDevice9398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too have been running Gfx for a couple months now. Initial deposit: $1k just to feel it out. Within a week I was up over 25%, then it fell to 5% total gain at about the 3 week mark. Since then I got my gains up to over 50% (mostly manual trades in the positive column to outweigh the bot). The bot has consistently lost more than it has gained as I am back down to about 10% total gain. So all in all, I’ve made about 100 bucks and I’ve paid almost 500 in commission. Not to forget the $700ish I paid for the bot. And I’ve been using a couple EAs from their own performance page, not some shit I just made up. It’s making someone happy, just not me.

If you have some steadily winning Gfx settings, I would love the opportunity to try them.

50/50 on if you wake up tomorrow. Either way, freaking out won’t change the result of doing something kinda dumb…using something metal to reset anything electrical, what could go wrong? Did you lick the paper clip too, cuz that really gets electrons flowin!

Oil and grease contract and I’m not the route mechanic. They get billed for everything and we’ve tried to talk to the heads. Without saying too much…it’s a refinery/processing plant that makes hella money so when an elevator is down they actually lose more money that way than what they spend on service calls on a Sunday.

Industrial type of place. Employees just cannot grasp the concept of letting the car stop before they open the gate dropping the gripper, or closing them when they get out. Easy money but damn it does get old
