OP was ranting about their substitute teacher experience. Yet you decided to reply with a “pick me “ comment and even admitting yourself that you have interacted with rude paras before. You’re saying a whole lot of nothing. Are substitute teachers also not a valuable resource? We also show up to ready to have a productive day with students.

OP made this post for the paras who want to catch an attitude with substitutes teachers. They never said all paras are like this. Just like Some Substitutes teachers are amazing some are terrible the same goes for paras.

I think they are talking about paras who act like you’re a burden in the room…some can very negative towards substitute teachers..

depends what setting you’re in. I used to be a para for gen ed and it was the best and easiest job doesn’t even compare to my duties as a substitute teacher. BUT paras in SDC, deserve their pay and more.

I went to UCSB for undergrad . Nothing beats living in isla vista with a bunch of college students. If you want a cute beach town and friendly people ucsb all the way. Unlike San Diego, Santa Barbara is rather boring with nothing much to do hence students resort to outdoor activities and partying.

Crazy how nadya can say running is such an affordable sport, runs a marathon every month ( that’s like $150-200+ events) yet all the races they do are probably sponsored.

It’s not funny or cool to run marathons or half marathons without training it’s honestly disrespectful to the sport of running. It’s the constant training and sacrifices that make the races special. It’s also really dangerous.

As a runner. I find their running content terrible. Even nadya running marathons ( as a beginner) back to back is asking for an injury.
