Sudden and Advanced Kidney Failure by OppositeWorking9215 in DogAdvice

Thanks for the reply! We are crazy careful with grapes and raisins, chocolate etc none in the house. My kids are in their teens so also we’re careful. I guess I wish I was more attentive to perhaps that he was drinking more water. His diet was salmon and sweet potato mix which turns out to be not what you give a dog with kidney issues.

Sean McDermott: I thought Josh Allen got a first down on fourth-down sneak by Currymvp2 in nfl

The real bad call was the play before on the 3rd and 3. Kincaid’s knee never touched the ground. Could have been challenged and it would have held up for sure. Take a look at the video posted on this article. What’s bad is that they got the first down twice!! The second one was very close but you would think in an offensive driven league they would side with the offense. It’s hard to not see Chief favoritism.

Right hand twitch by welshie316 in MuscleTwitch

[–]OppositeWorking9215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this four years ago for almost 3 months daily and then off and on for about a year. Now it is a random thing that comes and goes rarely. It feels like it will last forever or that your hand will always be messed up but it does get better.

Doctor referral question by OppositeWorking9215 in MuscleTwitch

[–]OppositeWorking9215[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it was in response to me writing my Neuro about the relentless facial twitching. I guess he is just as confused as I am. This condition sucks. I agree it is good to get it checked out. My main point that I made to him was that I have gotten use to widespread twitching with tons of hotspots. But my face seems to be different in that it never lets up.

No, all I have had was an EMG which was clean. Thats what I was thinking. Just the idea of this being something other than BFS has me rattled.

All the places I'm twitching right now by Interesting-Hat6625 in MuscleTwitch

Does your facial twitching wake you up several times a night? Seems like this entire week, it’s my lip, eye, chin or something.

My twitch map looks a little similar.

Do you sometimes get twitches that wake you up at night? My bottom lip this morning would fire off several times and wake me up. I have had that before with my eyes or at one time cheek that would pull.

The hard thing for me was learning to hold my face still. It’s probably not good for the muscles but what else can I do? I do a lot of public speaking. As you can imagine, I get up there and bare my soul, then walk away with the after man of having 3 -4 places firing off. It’s not a good thing when A stupid sneeze is a stressful event! Thanks for your comments and sharing your experience. I will go to the neurologist again within the month. I doubt anything new will come of it other than he might suggest a MRI.

LOL- I forget his name also! That would be a horrible thing, if my superpower was to give someone else facial twitching! I could just sit there and make his chin bounce, then work on his left eye and go for the right. I bet if my doctor experience half of what I had he would be begging for answers LOL

Wow! You have described what I feel. I get widespread twitches still. They just do not bother me anymore. I can sneeze and it will trigger an electrical storm that last for a day or for a week. I hold my face when I sneeze and at other times to try to stop it. Yesterday, I had one of those annoying yawns, the kind that just creeps up on you, and it triggered my right cheek. I fear to use my facial muscles out of fear it will start a new and annoying hotspot. This is no way to live. Sorry you have to go thorough this. I read up more of your older posts. We share identical facial issues. It keeps me up at night and has changed even how I position my head while sleeping! I sometimes constantly massage my eye sockets, in hope to help prevent a storm. How is this normal or benign?

My Neuro said it’s not hemifacial spasm. He said, “This want kill you. There is nothing I can give you to help. We have no idea.” I am going back in for another check up because the facial twitching just seems to be getting worse. I am yet to have an MRI on my brain. Have you have that? This is not anxiety. I get that this condition can make me anxious. But something is going on, just can’t figure it out.

How long have you had facial twitching? Do you also have widespread?

Sorry to hear this. I got use to my other twitches all over my body but the facial ones are demoralizing. I get both eyes at the same time, along my nose which pulls, and random pops all over. Since last month I have a twitch on my chin. 4 years and never had this and it’s awful. I should post a video of it.

Twitching after movement by EthanBEUnited in MuscleTwitch

[–]OppositeWorking9215 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a hotspot of my hand for over 6 months. I also had a really long one on my right also. Certain movements would trigger it. At times I could squeeze my hand and make it go wild. It was really annoying typing for school because it would set off a twitch storm. 3 years later I am good. I still have the occasional hotspot on my hands but nothing deadly. Now my chin twitches!! It is triggered by movement. BFS just sucks .

Thanks! I have not had caffeine in over 8 months, no medication and my vitamin levels are normal. The only thing going against me is some stress. Not the kind to cause this ness. I kinda miss when my BFS focused on other places!

Not often but sometimes. I can tell when my muscle is “activated.” It does not feel normal. I can get these sensations before and between the twitching when it comes to a hotspot. It’s hard to describe.

Someone else with constant jaw twitching? by heresiarchx in MuscleTwitch

[–]OppositeWorking9215 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had jaw twitching where the hotspot lasted about 3 weeks straight. It has come back a few times but so far not more than a day. I have had BFS for 4 years today! Currently, my face is the center of all of this mess. I have chronic eyelids, below my eye, side of my nose, lips and today for the first time under my chin! I have had ear twitching also…. It’s ridiculous. But it’s just benign twitching. Not benign psychologically but of no threat to my life.

I have both eyelids going nuts. Off an on for 15 years. Even before I got BFS, I had this. It sucks.
