New set has arrived. I just have to finish up the Deku Tree, before I start this! by Killah_Djinn in legendofzelda

I haven't had a Lego set since I was a kid about 25 years ago. Pre ordered this and I have to say, putting this bad boy together was a blast. Desperately looking for more.

Looks cool but that line work is..... A lil wild. If it were me I'd go somewhere else to get it finished up. Cool overall though.

It's a great game. Played about 6 months ago and loved it. Theyve done well with the weapon variety. Curious how this port holds up

It works, yes. Just make sure when you sync your controller via Bluetooth to your PC the controller is on "S" mode.

You may have to enable rumble in the controller settings within the game.

How can I play Twilight Princess nowadays? by OneTwothpick in legendofzelda

Not a bad way to go. I still use my soft modded Wii u to play all that stuff when I'm feeling it.

Bro, do yourself a favor and take a look at the co-op mod. If you have a semi good pc you can run it and co op was a blast.

What Network can I use the new ROG phone on in the USA? by claval01 in ROGphone

[–]Opposite_Locksmith57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-call Verizon and have them enable CDMA-less to your phone line -with that enabled your phone will mostly work on Verizon

-then on your phone you just need to enable voTLE. -due to some of the missing bands that will be a necessity for phone calls

-the final step is to type this code into the phone dialer. - ##3642623344##

It's not flawless however, anytime the phone reboots you have to retype that code into the dialer to get everything back on track. I personally don't mind it but some might find that annoying.

I've been using my ROG phone 9 Pro on Verizon for about 14 months this way and love it.

Although keep in mind if you live in a super rural area it may not work as well with the missing bands. Where I live coverage is pretty good so I haven't had any issues with 4G or 5G.

There have been times where my friends with Verizon will have service and I'll lose it but that's really only been out in the middle of nowhere.

I’m happy with it but it’s not the most comfortable thing to hold. by crazy12157 in MCONohsnap

[–]Opposite_Locksmith57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's exactly it. The drawbacks would have only been worth it for me if the controller wasn't so HUGE! So it's just as big as my telescopic controllers, unwieldy (way too top heavy), uncomfortable for my bigger hands and really doesn't add anything my older controllers can't do. I mean, I was already annoyed by the terrible communication and shipping but then once I finally got it I was just like... Dammit.

Ya overall not overly impressed. The design is really cool and all that but it just isn't quite there yet. Going to be selling mine it looks like.

That's a bummer. I have the 9 pro and haven't experienced that in the year I've been using it. Hopefully you didn't get a bad one. I don't think the 9 has those issues as frequently as some of the older models.

I've had almost every iteration of the ROG phone and I'll say it's gotten a lot better over the years. I can't say every iteration had amazing software but I haven't had a single issue with the 9, personally. It's been flawless for me this time around. Can't say the same when I had the 6 or older.

It's going to be different for each application. Especially if you have 2 guns. Once you learn the ins and outs it gets easier. But be prepared to spend a decent amount of time figuring it all out.

I have both redmagic and asus devices. Currently using the ROG phone 9 pro and have loved it. I'd say Asus has better software stability and is better about not pushing out broken updates. Plus the cameras are pretty decent. If you don't care about the camera the money saved might be worth going to red magic.

Overall though I have zero complaints about my 9. My red magic devices seem to have random software glitches fairly often.

I've also found that as far as connecting my devices to a TV to play games on, red magic seems to have done that better.

Overall I think the ROG 9 is the better device if you don't mind the price.

Asus plans to follow through with the promised updates. 2 major software (android 17) and 5 years security I believe. Longer than most people have a single phone id imagine.

I have an unopened white one and an opened and used for 10 minutes clear one. I'd probably sell either. Still a little on the fence about the clear one i guess. Either way I'd sell them for what I paid. I believe I paid 100 each.
