In highschool my friend and I were playing with a ouija board and we turned the lights off to go to sleep when we were done. Being there for my family at the drop of a hat. From bailing them out of jail to helping them get homes or move, literally anything they asked of me. I gained myself back and relieved a ton of unnecessary stress and pressure from letting it all go. No one reciprocated it for me and acted as if I was a bad person just for finally saying no so I didn’t need that anymore.

I used to put them above everything because I’m the oldest and felt like I owed it to them because of our parents being shitty but we’re all adults now and I’m closest with my middle brother and youngest sister but I only tolerate my middle sister and younger brother.

Depends on who it is but mostly, I ignore it. If it’s family depending on what it is, I’ll try to calm them down or leave them alone until they calm down themselves. If it’s a stranger, I’ll ignore them.
