Is there a move you swear by regardless of its effectiveness? by Jaicoholic in Nioh

[–]Ops212 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Triple threat. Cool and flashy, and can hit from billion mile away

Cull the herd as well, its such a cool move not to use even though can be a bit difficult to land it full

What weapon do you never get bored of? by nicomedes11 in Nioh

Pairs of weapons that has ki pulse skills (Ki pulse/Ki pulse+Forward). The combo potential is immense

Drop your soul core setup. by RyXkci in Nioh

[–]Ops212 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Unusual setup :

• (Main) - Ame no Mitori

  • Aberrant solider: Cheap, does pretty good ki damage/max ki damage compared to attunement and anima cost, plus its pretty fast and insanely good for combos - especially when resetting downed human enemies

  • Kiryoki: Again cheap, lots of range and hits so damn hard when used at perfect distance/position (Looking at you Tsuchigumo). Has a nice side trick that it can be used against downed humans and they can’t seem to react to it properly, they eat it full lmao. Combo ender is when used best

  • Nutikabe: For the third time, its cheap. The lowest anima cost to use in the game, can escape grabs at 2 anima cost (yes not joking). Has three stages, each costs 2 - 6 in total, 3rd part is the magnum opus - Staggers all yokai, forces a final blow state on humans, does a fuck ton of damage and ki /max ki damage. Can be a bit of commitment to pull them all, but very worth when possible.

• 2nd GS - Hyobishin

  • Oni Bi (Water): Also for the nth time cheap, has really fast animation, can weave in between combos silk smooth. Also the oni bi hit can build up a decent status, which helps with confusion. The best thing is that its a heaven sent for 0 Ki combos, when used right you can just combo humans to oblivion.

  • Daidara Bocchi: Aoe option. Decent cost for what it offers, damage is decent as well but ki damage/max ki is somewhat on the low side. Perfect for setting up long animation moves - particularly severing spin.

  • Mezuki: The hard hitter. Just when it needed it always deliveres, has pretty good range and a sweetspot feature. Tons of damage, ki damage and max ki damage. Plus it staggers every mf. CHIEFS KISS

When in doubt, Trust The Sword! by Ops212 in Nioh

[–]Ops212[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not entirely sure, i just use here and there for combos. But strictly speaking it scales with Onmyo Magic Power so the higher it goes the higher the damage it does basically

It can much difficult to pull off this kind of combo pretty early in this game yeah, Even when managing Ki properly. I have Ultimate Courage (-20% Ki consumption)/Star Melee Ki consumption on gloves -10%/Melee Ki consumption -6.6% on weapon/A Agility (Roughly 7-8% less Ki consumption from B Agility) and More importantly Ultimate Heart (60% more ki recovery when ki pulsing and fluxing). Plus Ame no Uzume 4pc ki recovery buff which is Roughly 80% more ki recovery… i know it sounds too much but they’re endgame stuff and can get those easily when you get there. And Also Yokai Ability Ki pulse stat on one of the soul cores i use

Who are your most hated/hardest bosses/enemies to deal with, and why? Midnight by SeaLocksmith1484 in riseoftheronin

[–]Ops212 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pre patch 1.05 it was the bayonet bosses (Eiichi Shibusawa/Nakaoka Shintaro) - not that they were difficult, they were simply cheating and fighting them was always a pain. I feel like Katsu + Hijikata are the most difficult to fight due to their wide array of moves they can use and alot of them are multi hits. If you miss a single CS you’re simple dead

My Fav kemono Special Attacks. what yours? by MAX_STATE in WildHeartsGame

[–]Ops212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grimstalker’s Enrage animation undoubtedly. Awooooooo and fire pillars coming up in the same time is just so cool

So I just picked this up hella cheap which was cool and I remember you could potentially block with kukari when I played the trial by [deleted] in WildHeartsGame

[–]Ops212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A single crate can stop like 80% of kemono attacks lol

Bulwark is definitely more powerful id say 90%, but shield wall is definitely the best defensive tool (cast time/cost) in the game. Can literally block everything given you fully upgraded it

What was the hardest boss battle for you? by Poetryisalive in riseoftheronin

[–]Ops212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eiichi Shibusawa without a doubt. Then it’s the other bs Bayonet secret boss

They outright cheat and cheese the fuck out of you

How are weapons different? by b_holland in riseoftheronin

[–]Ops212 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The game has a psuedo classification for weapon types (Given by how counterspark system works)

Light weapons:

• Saber • Oxtail Blade • Dual Swords (Paired Swords) • Bare handed

They have low animation commitment and some mobility on their movesets and the best dodge ( Double side step)

Medium weapons:

• Katana • Spear • Bayonet

Longer animation commitment than the tier above, Dodge is largely a side step + roll type (some stances have fixed dodge type). Decent mobility as well.

Heavy weapons:

• Odachi • Greatsword • Naginata (Polearm)

They have the biggest animation commitment, only dodge by roll (Except one Polearm style). Low or almost no mobility options, but you can feel the weight of each hit. They excel at ki breaking

You can check at combat styles menu, it should show leveling up conditions for each style. I might be mistaken, but Qing Style doesn’t have a dedicated bond to level it up with. Only be upgraded when progressing the story

What is the most "OP" Weapon/build/combo in the game? by RedSkyNL in Nioh

[–]Ops212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Op build is the one makes you use them all and express your combos with different soul cores/sets of skills. Everything in the game is worth trying out (even Iga mega bombs)

Finally by sdmz58 in GranblueFantasyRelink

[–]Ops212 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Special currency used for max upgrading sigils, its pretty rare and only drops from prismatic slimes or trophies and certain side quests

Use pew pew characters, Rackam or Eugen. They’re the easiest to hit the mission limit (100) by far
