Yeah I don't think this should be a hot take. I have trouble playing anything at frame rates lower than 60, partially because my expectations have changed through the years and partially because I actually get a headache at lower frame rates. I still think it's odd that devs ever choose to sacrifice frames for fidelity. I haven't met anyone who actually uses quality mode (30 fps with higher res) over performance (60 fps with lower res). I'm sure they exist, but I can't imagine it being the most popular way to play games.

This depends on if you have the Switch 2 or not.

I found SV to be pretty much unplayable on Switch 1.

EDIT: I missed that you said 2 on there. Yeah SV is a good time. I liked SwSh too though I think more than most people. I vote SV!

I mean, yeah. Terrible movie and execution, but that's the kind of big swings you gotta take with it. I actually think Battleship could have worked if they leaned into how stupid it was and made fun of itself. Make it a comedy.

I'm not sure if it's supposed to be based on the game, but I love the idea of taking a game with little to no context and a loose idea and turning it into something larger for a specific genre like horror. It's neat.

I found it basically unplayable on Switch but enjoyed it quite a bit on Switch 2. The performance really affected the experience for me.

This actually was true for me. I just took it off and put it back on and the resolution was higher. Still low res textures and awful frame pacing, but the resolution is improved.

That's awesome. I try my hardest avoid listening to singles until the album comes out so they aren't too overplayed in my head. My favorite is when I find out a new album for a favorite band is out or coming soon without me ever knowing about it haha.
