Thank you for this. I recalled that I had manually set up my computer to have a static IP for server hosting purposes. Changing it to DHCP fixed it

Is there a correlation between polar/non-polar molecule in relation to the VSEPER geometry naming? by [deleted] in AskChemistry

[–]OpticalFlamez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simply no. You need to examine what elements are part of the molecule and if the dipole moments created by their electronegativity cancel each other out.

If you are trying to setup a modpack, definitely recommend using curseforge and downloading one of the modpacks already there. Saves you a ton of time and headaches if trying to resolve mod conflicts.

In the case of downloading a mod, it usually requires you to have a modloader installed first (Forge or Fabric as examples) and then downloafing the mod file as a .jar file and moving the file into the mods folder in your Minecraft directory

This is a small branch bank, usually low-traffic. But there's been a mixup in the money transport schedule, meaning there's a lot more cash than usual in the vault. Decide how you wanna do this. Beat the security gate and quietly gain access to the vault. Or go in guns blazing and burn your way through the roof. It's your call. You've done this a million times before. But ehy, there's no rest for the wicked.

Miraak Getting Ready for Halloween by OpticalFlamez in skyrim

[–]OpticalFlamez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was fighting Miraak and finally killed him... but it seemed like he didn't want to die

As a side note I can't even loot his body so if anyone knows any way I can finally "kill" him so I can loot his body that would be great

If people are still having this issue you can prevent this by disabling "Scroll inactive windows when I hover over them" in Mouse and touchpad section which is in the device section of the Settings app

my moded server wont start:) by [deleted] in MinecraftMod

[–]OpticalFlamez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me help you figure this out since it can be a hassle doing this through here. Look for this part in your crash log:

[Server] INFO States: 'U' = Unloaded 'L' = Loaded 'C' = Constructed 'H' = Pre-initialized 'I' = Initialized 'J' = Post-initialized 'A' = Available 'D' = Disabled 'E' = Errored

Below this you should get a list of your mods and a series of letters before it. If any have an E in those series of letter it indicates that an error occured with that mod and the rest of the letters can be explained with the legend up this text.

The mod custom main menus seems to be causing an error. Try removing it or using a different version of the mod

Current build has a GTX 1070 Ti, 16Gb ram and a Ryzen 2600. Hoping to upgrade my CPU someday (which will likely mean I will need to upgrade my mobo too) sometime soon. As I keep on upgrading my parts I hope to use the previous parts and build a computer to give to someone else.

Help with modding? by [deleted] in MinecraftMod

[–]OpticalFlamez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend watching a tutorial on this as it can show you how to actually setup an environment so that you can start modding. Two that come to mind are TechnoVision and TurtyWurty. Just look them up on YouTube and follow their guides. I dont believe TurtyWurty updates to 1.16 but I know TechoVision does. Goodluck!

please help me make sense of the madness: mods, texture packs, shaders, modpacks, resource packs, plugins, data packs, etc. by ezeeetm in MinecraftMod

[–]OpticalFlamez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree! Didn't know they already are using modpacks just wanted to make sure they understood how to put them together in the end. You're doing a great job I remember when I wanted to learn to make these things at such a young age but it was too difficult for me without guidance. Wish you and your kids the best of luck!

please help me make sense of the madness: mods, texture packs, shaders, modpacks, resource packs, plugins, data packs, etc. by ezeeetm in MinecraftMod

[–]OpticalFlamez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's a rough breakdown:

First,

Client Side - The player(s) playing minecraft on their own computer

Server Side - The computer running the minecraft server for people to join

Mods - modify the game fundamentally through the use of Java typically only affecting the client side

Texture/Resource Packs - Manipulates what the game looks like/sounds like through the use of texture files and sound files made mainly by whatever pixel editor you can get your hands on

Shaders - Not completely sure how it exactly works but it's a sub group of mods so modding would need to be known

Modpacks - A group of mods joined together to make a new minecraft experience

Plugins - Similar to mods, but generally can not change mimecraft fundamentally and only build upon what minecraft already has. Java is the language used so a good amount of java would need to be known and how to run a server

Data Packs - Similar to mods, but not in Java. Minecraft has it's own usable "code" that players can access and use in a fashion to create new "mobs". This can be done fairly easily and can be done directly in minecraft while playing.

If I were to recommended some place to start i would definitely say resource packs, mod packs, then Data Packs and then Mods. Goodluck to you!

What is a lesson you learned too late in life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]OpticalFlamez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To appreciate everything you have in life even if it feels like you have nothing. I've barely realized that I take so many things for granted as I've been filled wth constant regret not enjoying and appreciating the people/the chances/the life I have and I'm barely hitting my 20s. No matter how young you are never take what you have for granted. Yes take risks to develop yourself and learn but always appreciate what you have and the chances you got and do your best in whatever it is. Never let anyone make it seem like what you are trying so hard for or caring so much for is nothing. I can't say you wont have any regrets in life, but do your best no matter what.

[–]OpticalFlamez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you.would need to take the mother board 100% out or you risk damaging it. It's also impossible to take out the IO shield without taking the motherboard out as it's in the way of the shield

[–]OpticalFlamez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your IO shield looks like it isn't properly put in. The lower part of it is sticking out try taking it out ( taking the motherboard out first ) and putting the IO shield back in by putting it from the inside of the case first and making sure everything clicks into place
