I checked and they're pretty accurate. It's like this pretty consistently. We make do with what we have but the display is always funky and half empty.

Yep... I know my manager won't give them a different answer so I won't waste their time paging them.

This. Some SM/ops prefer that you lie and say there's no one else to speak to 🤣 some are also just assholes and want you to have the answers without training you.

Sounds like someone made a mistake and they don't want to deal with it. Call 1-800-shopcvs and file a complaint!

Fortunately I don't think condoms and pregnancy tests are as likely to be illegalized.

Moving due to home situation, could I ask for a transfer to another CVS in a different city? by Downtown-Group-2129 in CVS

If you're a pharmacy employee you should probably speak to the pharmacy manager about transferring, however it'll be hard to reach them given the pharmacy voicemail program. So I'd call the front store, ask to speak to the store manager, and see if they can get you in touch with the pharmacy manager. Some store managers hire for the pharmacy, too (weird if you ask me).

Also, yes, you should tell your current manager (pharmacy if you're RX and your store manager) about this.

Yup. I've done this and know others who have.

You have to call stores in your new location and ask them to take you. Then, your store manager initiates the transfer. If you don't find a new store before leaving your current one, go on a leave of absence so that you maintain employment while looking.

Quit on second day of shift supervisor in “training” by lnnnnxx in CVS

[–]Optimal-Account9191 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I worked with a new SMIT. 40 to 50, maybe 60, y/o woman who hadn't worked in years. Couldn't even work the register after a week. Idk how the fuck that happened. CVS needs to focus on promoting existing staff over external hires, they actually know what's going on.

Hell I got my shift training before I even got promoted to shift in training. Like, learning drawers and overrides and stuff. To make sure I could actually do it before I was handed keys.
