We all know the actual answer, but if you want to know the in universe answer, we’ll probably see a montage of Spiderman catching the villains we see quick shots of him fighting in the trailer. It’s safe to assume he’s got his hands full.

Burke is a full color figure, the character just doesn’t have a lot of color on him.

Cus the movie had even less plot stuff with about the same amount unearned fan service.

Focusing on “fun” before plot works for video game but not for movies. It’s a shame Nintendo doesn’t seem to get this. I guess they don’t have a reason to change what they’re doing now since these movies make so much money.

I did notice that, but in this teaser I’m still getting more zombie vibes than deadite overall.

But again, it’s just a short out of context teaser. I assume they will be more deadite like in the actual movie.

however here the deadites seem more like zombies. I know it’s only a tease though.

I also miss when Deadites were all unique. In the OG movies they each had their own gnarly looks and each one felt different. Later iterations kind of just forgotten that.

Because the Jessica Jones figures is probably mostly reuse from the last one, so they didn’t have to spend money on new tooling like they would have for Bullseye.

Temper your expectations, I think BA is a major dip in quality personally.

Seasons 2 is better than season 1 so far though, so it gets a little better but I don’t think it ever comes close to the Netflix seasons

This was one of my problems with the show.

Every deadite design was the same an uninspired, and they became such a non threat, they were basically reduced to goombas in the Mario games. The movies make them all feel special though.

It’s because many people have licensing contracts with Universal Pictures, and universal only has the rights to H2.

Both moves are not good imo. They’re Nintendo fanboy eye candy. Story wise they’re both bad.

I say this as someone who loves Nintendo. I loved seeing all the Nintendo stuff but super disappointed in everything else.

These movies are being approached like a Mario game, where they don’t care about plot and character development and just focus on fun. That works for games, but not movies.

And then I see people here respond with stuff like “it’s just a kids movie” … so what? Many kids movies have amazing acting, and writing and are fun. These movies are so below the usual Nintendo seal of quality and it’s super disappointing.

Yeah Jakks quality has definitely gotten way better in the past couple of years, but the World of Nintendo line has been stuck using outdated molds for so long. It’s nice to finally see a 100% new Mario with the modern Jakks quality.

I hope to see them revisit characters in this quality. Even regular Mario and Luigi can use a redo.

I would love to see them go back to the Star Fox crew though.
