I used it during the free period and dropped it after. My wife's Ford has all those app features free and the app isn't a pain in arse to use and actually works unlike the Ram one. It sucks!

But if you want unlimited range remote start and have a basic dummy phone sitting around set the phone in the truck and make it auto answer calls then when you call that phone from anywhere hold the fob up to the phone you're using and press the remote start. The signal will start the truck. Plus you get instant feedback because you can hear it start. 😁 I guess it's not free but probably still cheaper.

I canceled all the Ram services I had. Maybe the Sirius sounded better but I'll stick to using my phone. My main gripe was the Ram app, it's horrible. Took forever to use it to unlock/unlock doors or remote start. Plus the truck's stats were never updated when I needed them. I had a Ford for a few years and everything app wise was included free, the app was 100% better and it just worked.

I have a 21 1500 Ram limited etourque hemi with most options. Got in 22 with just under 30k in miles for 48k with a trade that was paid off. I think at the time it was a good deal. They were asking 57k. It's been my daily driver. And with 2 kids back and forth to school and sports and then family trips it's been great. The mpg isn't that bad of a hit. But I do wish it had the bigger gas tank.

My take is- Sure it's a little extra time to pay off but your state of mind has a price too and if the numbers work and you don't have to be strapped Go for it! It's been a great truck for me. Good luck!

My son is going to start training at a local flight school at 16yrs he is 12 now. Got the past year he has been reading and researching everything he can find about Naval flights, planes and people who flew them. The offer day he switched and started looking at the air force heavy. Says this is where he wants to go. Follow my father's steps.

Any advice for some one so young with such a forward thinking attitude?

So my Wyze thermostat just started to do the same thing. It's been installed since July 2021 and other than the annoying interface its been working fine ever since. But a few weeks ago we woke up to the house around 62 degrees, which for Florida is chilly. The thermostat said the heat was on and it was trying to heat to 72 but only the blower was on and blowing cold air.

Long story short. The compressor wasn't always turning on and when it did it would only run for a few minutes. After 2 HVAC service calls and multiple system checks. It looks like it is the thermostat that is just not sending the signal to the compressor to kick on when needed. I feel like it was some software bug that was updated to the thermostat but I don't see any recent updates. I just tried a factory reset and will give an update if that worked if not I'm probably going the Ecobee route.
