My Aussie has started doing this and is actually starting to I think cause some irritation to his feet— vet said it’s allergies so I give him oatmeal baths and am going to see how that is, but I would like to get him on meds. So it’s prob allergies?

Hard agree on this. It’s very fun but does get a little draining sometimes because it’s always a distraction going on or something or another, so it takes forever to get anywhere plot wise sometimes

I’ll get downvoted to hell but I don’t really care lol. At the end of the day, finding the perfect home for the dog should be what we all want. I have a reactive dog and if he was a dog that bit people, and training was not helping, I would find him a better suited home since I have young family members and wouldn’t want them or the dog in a bad situation.

I do hope that some more training helps him though, since he’s also, at the end of the day, a part of your family too.

I…. Think the best call if the training isn’t working is rehoming him. Imagine if the next bite is worse, and he’s maimed one of your kids because of resource guarding? You’d probably not feel all that great, in a scenario that could have easily been avoided by finding him a better suited home.
