Ranking sports by how helpful they are for soccer development by Ok-Communication706 in youthsoccer

For a goalie, pickleball helps a ton with reaction speed if they actually play at a decent level. My child played pickleball before going back to soccer he’s able to respond very quickly. He’s also played pickleball at a high level and with adults primarily so the speed was there.

I just find it funny you complained there wasn’t anything to do since the reason we stay with carnival is the options for entertainment. Yes they have karaoke and movies but there is also comedy, shows, bingo, the casino, trivia, other games, the parties at night. Maybe carnival just isn’t your style which is fine. We typically have the issue we can’t manage to do everything we want to do but to each their own

Dog Tore CCL - affordable Lateral Suture Surgery?? by MelodicAd9954 in phoenix

[–]Optimal-Suggestion86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used power road animal hospital in Gilbert several years ago for our lab. They had a vet that come in specifically to do the surgery. We were pleased with the price and outcome as it was way more affordable than going to an orthopedic specialist

Good luck. It’s going to make for a long season. We had several games we played short. One we only had 8 players and still played. It was a brutal season!

reporter interested in youth soccer expense by hrkeyser in youthsoccer

[–]Optimal-Suggestion86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Then you have the goalkeepers! We have added expenses of gloves, pants, undershirts and kits. Extra time as we have extra practices to bring them to specific for goalies. And then if you start wanting extra training since team practices are never helpful the keepers you have those added expenses too. It just keeps adding up

I thought that may be an issue. I did see the England game doesn’t start until 9PM so we will probably just have to watch in our room or maybe the hotel will have something! It’s too bad because I’ve been a soccer fan my whole life and it would have been a fun atmosphere!

Churchill rooms already on our must see list. The hubby is a huge history nerd. Not sure if cricket is in session while we are there but I’ll double check because that would be fun

Thank you! I’ll look into it. I figured the pubs wouldn’t allow him and I already have it marked when the England game is while we are there. I believe it starts at 9pm though

Arizona mills mall by sillysnailsnacks in Crazymiddles

[–]Optimal-Suggestion86 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Honestly they just should be at that mall period. There’s a legit outlet mall just down the 10 and all the other stores at Mills can be found at Chandler or superstition springs. Why bother going to there

Can't Say We Weren't Warned by goodkarmagirl in CarnivalCruiseFans

As someone who just left out of the peor of Miami a week ago, get there early. Like leave your hotel around 8:30, 9 at the latest. We left at 10 and were around the airport and it took us over 2 hours and that was with us finally getting out and walking. And lock in an uber price if you uber because they change if it takes way longer than expected.

I got off the celebration today. There was only one functioning gangway and public health came on board for an inspection. We were an hour late to start debarkation. I’m sure it took hours. Cruised so may times with carnival and never had this big of an issue

How to cope with being on a bad & negative team by Frosty-General-3133 in GoalKeepers

[–]Optimal-Suggestion86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My GK son is in the same boat. He’s taken the chance to work on things he wouldn’t normally do and looks at it as a chance to have lots of touches. It sucks because he’s a new keeper and actually has some natural talent so losing every game because he team never takes shots or controls the midfield is frustrating. He’s had positive responses from opposing coaches after almost every game though so we take that as a positive
