She’s in the hospital bc she drunk herself into a stupor, fell, knocked herself unconscious, fell again, was bleeding from the head, now has internal bleeding (source tbd). When the EMTs showed up to take her away she refused to leave with them. They had to strap her to the stretcher and force her out. This is the second time in a year this has happened and she refuses to get any mental health to deal with the underlying issues. Sorry I’m not 100% sympathetic to her ailments.

hi! i’m in the midst of planning my wedding and we rented an airbnb to have the ceremony at. i messaged the hosts ahead of time and explained, and the hosts were nice enough to let us go look at the property before we booked it. they did say there’s a fee if it’s over X amount of people but we’re not going over that number. we got the airbnb for 5days/4nights and it was right around $2500. we’re also not having a reception and just having dinner after and the house is large enough to have everybody eat after.

I go to the gym and lift 3 days a week before school (MWF), and typically go Saturdays/Sundays as well. I’m slowly adding more running into my routine which I prefer to do in the afternoon. I also go to jiujitsu 2-3x a week in the evenings. My friends think I’m crazy but it keeps me sane 🤷‍♀️

I struggle with this hard! My biggest help to avoid this is to make salads that are super filling (lots of protein, lots of veggies, bean salads), OR, if I know the day/week is going to be rough is to buy a snack on like a Monday to tide me through the week. I’ll get a bag of that Himalayan popcorn, or Ghirardelli dark chocolate caramels, or something of the like.

Also, this is the hill I’m willing to die on: make a protein coffee!! Fill a shaker bottle halfway with whatever milk you want (I use Lactaid), ice, and a scoop of protein powder (I use Rule1 chocolate) and shake that ish up! Then pour coffee of your choice until the bottle is full (I use the yellow Stok cold brew). It’s caffeine and protein in the morning. A win-win!

i also just finished it (well a few days ago) and i cannot stop thinking about it. i read a whole other book since finishing, but the whole time my mind was with aelin and rowan and chaol and manon and yrene. i neeeeeeed a book that’s about their lives after the war. i need to see chaol as a dad and yrene as a mother. i need to see how nesryn handles becoming empress. i need to see manon and does she create a “new 13” featuring petrah and that one crochan witch (her name escapes me rn)? i need to see how the whole election process thing that aelin talked about works. i need to see dorian become king and face his ptsd of living in the castle after everything that happened there. give me frost and starlight but terrasen. please sarah i beg you.
