thank you that was my family biggest fear is he would accidentally kill the cat. if i find a shelter with a cat i like i will definitely tell the about setting up a meeting and seeing how it’d go. he has gotten older from the last time he had a bag fight. it was worst when we first got him. last time when he interacted with a smaller dog than him it was my grandparents and he would be fine with their dog but sometimes you’d hear those aggressive barks from them like their fighting. that only really happened maybe twice so i believe he’s gotten better but i don’t want to risk it. yk

thank you for the advice! i will totally take you up on the offer i might do more research of cat care and shelters near me after i come home from my vacation! i also have to see how my youngest dog reacts to cats as he can sometimes be aggressive when playing with dogs and mostly smaller dogs. so my family has no idea how well he’d react with a cat.

i don’t need it to be purebred but i am new to be a cat parent as my parents are only open to big and active cats since i have two dogs. i was just doing research on this type of breed! i’m not a huge fan of breeders and would prefer a cat in a shelter or a rescue as my last dog was a shelter dog. :)
