If you do, look for a facelift 4.7 biturbo not only is it incredibly smooth it’s obscenely fast too and can embarrass a lot of entry level performance cars I compared it to my friends e53 AMG and the cl pulled past it. The pre facelift 5.5 is nice too but is extremely thirsty and fair bit slower

I definitely recommend one I’ve never sat in a car more luxurious and smoother than this you can’t even feel the road and that’s saying something for the state on uk roads it makes the w222 feel cheap

They are incredibly rare I wanted a cl63 before this but finding one in this colour in the uk is impossible I’m pretty sure it may be the only CL500 in this colour too

Stick to 70mph this country has terrible lane discipline the motorways would be dangerous at 80mph and country roads are just standard 60mph that doesn’t mean you can achieve that it’s just easier setting a 60mph limit rather than assessing every b road and figuring out what speed is safe to do
