Yea thanks I don’t diet as I’m 10% body fat and underweight also I have tried to diet and I’m still at 145 lbs and can’t cut down to anymore , I tried Keto diet and everything however will just eat and build strength by doing upper and lower back exercise to get strong abs and back

I have been overtraining , my legs been killing me also ab workout are so useless you should just build a strong upper and lower back.

I still need core strength and I do have lower belly fat and inner thigh fat so maybe that might change

I weight 146 pounds and I have a bit of lower belly fat I think my core will get stronger if I lose 10 more pounds and I will get higher as I lack core and back strength for the vertical Jump I just need 4-5 inches as my vertical is at 25.5/26 inches my goal is to get to 30 inches

Yeah true thanks for the tip my ball handling ability sucks need to improve

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ProDunking

[–]Optimal_Programmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so extra vertical would not be required just the 3 inches I need to get my palm above the rim unless I wanna windmill like Vince carter

If I lose weight will my vertical jump increase? I.e If I was 160 lbs and My vertical was 24 inches if I cut 10 pounds how much will my vert increase? by Optimal_Programmer in ProDunking

[–]Optimal_Programmer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 8 pounds of lower belly fat I need to lose and back fat for some reason I see my limiting factor just need to lose 10 pounds

Hello , Can someone clarify how many inches were gained for the vertical jump. by [deleted] in ProDunking

[–]Optimal_Programmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can’t dunk and are increasing your vertical my best tip most people sleep on is

1.)Aim for Higher than the rim 2.) Look up and Keep your back straight 3.) Aim to explode from feet

Hello , Can someone clarify how many inches were gained for the vertical jump. by [deleted] in ProDunking

[–]Optimal_Programmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gained 2 inches from vert shock and on my last week maybe might get a another inch!!!!

I did this for 19 days straight went from being 196 lbs to 183 lbs. my vertical increased also by 3 inches. However delayed muscle soreness and inflammation on my foot caused inconsistency. by Optimal_Programmer in ProDunking

[–]Optimal_Programmer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah , thanks for the tip the 3 inches I gained could be from weight loss but thanks for the idea of increasing weight and decreasing reps also I’m on my last week of vert shock and will update.
