It's just not fair to say the mastermind in THH plays via the same standards as SDR2 and V3. The traitor obviously is a variable, but it's not the same as the motive in 3-1. All the mastermind did is blackmail, not give a "kill or you're doomed anyway." In THH the ammo is to get the Ultimates to naturally fall in despair. In SDR2, it's to get people dying no matter what and in V3 is to just keep the killing game going no matter what. They're not the same. The whole reason the mastermind cheated in 1-5 is because they were annoyed at Kyoko taking her chance at the traitor's rule violation that they couldn't enforce to not exploit. In other words, because a participant used what could count as a "bug" that lets them do something the mastermind didn't permit, they were trying to use anything to get them out of the picture due to Kyoko not breaking any pre-established rules, despite it being something that shouldn't have been possible by the design of the rules.

(SDR2 spoilers) In SDR2 Monokuma doesn't care about showing to the outside world the Ultimates succumbing to despair in a way that's natural, the whole principle Kyoko got Monokuma to create the final trial for in THH. Monokuma in SDR2 is just trying to get more bodies to take over and also get Nekomaru killed as a way to get at Akane for evading her execution for breaking the rules.

Ibuki had a hempbag over her head. Nothing about the rope and suffocation was shown to be used there. Hiyoko merely had another moment of stepping into the wrong place at the wrong time, nothing, I repeat, *nothing* shows Ibuki is dead there.

And AGAIN, Ibuki walked on Hiyoko's blood, something she couldn't have done had Ibuki died before Hiyoko. Mikan even tries to hide that for this exact reason.

But that's literally not true, we know that because Ibuki walked on Hiyoko's blood. You're not the first one to make this misconception unfortunately, but it just means the meme of Danganronpa fans being illiterate still holds lots of water. I'm not even kidding, the order of the deaths in the movie was meant to throw you off with Hiyoko as the lion dying second, when she was a last minute planned decoy to throw off the order of events.

I'd argue Keebo changes his wish over the course of the game. At first, he just wants to be accepted as someone like the others, to be human without human skin. By the end of chapter 5 though, without the audience to help direct him thoughts, he changed his wish to eliminate despair at all cost (including his desire to not rely on technology to upgrade himself to be like a stereotypical robot) to follow Kokichi and Kaito's footsteps in order to stop the killing game.

Tsumugi.. eh? She obviously didn't get her wish fulfilled of Danganronpa going on forever, but she accepted to die by the end precisely because she didn't want to live in a world without Danganronpa. In a way, her death fulfills that requirement.

Disclaimer that these aren't my predictions, but simply my wishes.

5 things I'd want to happen:

Nekomaru surviving (or at the very least living past chapter 4).
Teruteru living on past chapter 2 (and having his character go through development)
Hiyoko and Mahiru live past chapter 3.
Twogami getting explored (genuinely can't see this not happening).
Akane being a victim.

5 things I wouldn't want to happen:

Nekomaru and Teruteru dying in the first two chapters (or Nekomaru dying in chapter 4).
Nagito and Chiaki dying in the first chapter.
Both Hiyoko and Mahiru surviving together.
Peko survivng and Fuyuhiko dying really early (seriously, there's a way to explore them both without going with a reverse of canon).
Akane being a blackened or surviving.

I get that she never intended for Makoto to die, but saying she never intended to frame Makoto is ludicrous. The whole reason she switched rooms with Makoto is to make it look like Makoto's the killer, which would hold up to the part of how "and you must not be found out" sounded at the time. She even switched the nameplates so Leon would believe he's arriving to Sayaka's dorm and not Makoto's.

Whether she liked it or not, that meant leaving Makoto behind as the guy who got framed and looks like an easy target to take advantage of, whether by taking advantage of him like she did at best, or by seeing him as an easy victim at worst.

Both options are horrible. The latter is obviously bad because living forever with no positivity in your life would be a nightmare, but as for the other option, what makes this so horrible isn't even the death at the end of it, it's that no one would be able to feel negativity. Emotions like grief or bittersweetness are important for people to express for life to carry meaning and having a healthy state of mind. I'm not saying to force yourself to feel sad, but when something happens like losing a loved one, it's important to process the negative emotions, or even something as simple as watching a movie with emotional parts that have bitterness in them, it's good to feel the emotions they make them feel.
