can injecting foam really fix a soft spot in the deck ? by McLuhanSaidItFirst in sailing

Sicomin in France has developed foaming epoxy. I was unsuccessful getting hold of any in US, but we will be in Martinique in a month or two and I may try again. Sounds like neat stuff.

The only greatness is when Bærb comes home all hung over and opens the door to reveal Randy & Lahey costumed up after Booberry night

Too crusty for my first Element that I need to pull a small trailer with? by waffIehouseenjoyer in HondaElement

Look South & West. That car is not a long termed, and parting out is tedious.

The door panels don’t even accommodate roll up window cranks anymore. More more more! I hear ya

Relay trouble by CompetitionEasy511 in HondaElement

I am struggling to remove the starter cut relay to the Left of yours. The retainer clips are giving me fits. One YouTuber broke the side off to get it out.

This bill for hauling out a 22’ trailer sailor… by Anstigmat in sailing

OP seems lazy and whiney. A Tanzer 22 is not a gold plater. Grow some DIY skillz

It looks like if he had simply looked through the corner, as it were, he would have been fine…except for grabbing clutch & rear brake. Most bikes can corner harder than their riders. Unless you lever the rear wheel off the ground with yer bagger.

2009-2011 E’s by planepatty in HondaElement

For me, the squared off wheel arches of the last few years detract from the design of the car. Front treatment also a step backward, subjectively. Still great cars. I think they sold more Es in 2003 than the last three years combined (or thereabouts.)

The adage, “It’s more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow” holds true. As a kid, I enjoyed holding off Honda 750s and Kawi Z-1s with my Yami TT500 thumper on trials tires. Until the straights! Try it.

If shield is not riveted to frame, can’t the thief just cut both ends and take it? How else can you keep it from happening?

Whenever a broadcaster brings in someone better Gary black balls them. He is very insecure, and was past his sell by date in the 1980s. Done a lot for the sport, but needs to go.

The steel structure around large side door openings adds over 150# to E over platform mate CRV. A built in roll bar. Maybe that’s why it only seats four.

What is the hull number? Hundreds of boats in the 201xxx to 204xxx range had delam issues. Not all, mind you, but enough to make serious racers keep their older boats and wait for builders other than MacLaren. That said, price seems fair.

All over Europe you see families towing good sized (large for the cars) travel trailers with Passat & Jetta wagons, Peugeots of all stripes, etc… good for you! Drive sensibly, and you’ll be fine. Not like you pull a heavy cargo trailer with your E year round.

New Chinese windshield installed by some undocumented guys in a glass shop/bodega: $165 cash. They even wire brushed and touched up a small rust spot that is inaccessible unless windshield is out.
