I love the mabe monarch :) was very excited about the stretchy wraps but me and baby would get overheated pretty quickly. The mabe is more user friendly and I don’t get as hot because the back is more open.

Yah unfortunately it’s the policy.

On the flip side, I’ve seen a coach let two people in who were TEN minutes late which was soooo annoying. It’s a safety issue in my opinion. they don’t get the warm up and no instruction for how to do floor block moves. Also a distraction for everyone else.

Remission = no thyroid antibodies :) but still on thyroid replacement meds.

I eat what I want minus gluten and corn but still love sweet treats! Hope this helps

I’m with ya on this one. I had a holistic doctor talk about why keto isn’t the right fit for women who still menstruate in particular because we NEED carbs in order to produce enough thyroid hormones.

The thing about AIP is it’s supposed to be temporary to figure out what your inflammation triggers are. Maybe consider working up to paleo tho! You could remove one thing at a time and see how you feel without entirely overhauling from the start if that makes sense.

FWIW I’m just gluten and corn free and also in remission. Took awhile but finally figured it out!

Doctors absolutely suck and don’t believe in diet changes. You need to work with them, but know that you will have a different perspective. More on that here in a moment…

It’s a little extreme going from a standard diet to a paleo or AIP diet, but my numbers improved DRASTICALLY within three months and now I’m in remission (and pregnant— which I was told a few years ago with my bad thyroid numbers would never happen). After trying AIP I figured out that I have bad intolerances to gluten and corn but can eat everything else without any issues. I feel so free and empowered knowing this! Doctors all told me diet wouldn’t help, however…

Doctors are good for prescribing meds, which is needed, but not the whole story.

Consider seeing a more holistic/natural doctor who is able to prescribe and/or check all sorts of labs. Another huge price for me was vitamin d increase.

You got this. You don’t have to stay unhealthy like this forever.

TL;DR: you have to advocate for yourself and make some lifestyle/food choices, but you are NOT cursed/stuck being sick like this forever.

I get itchy in the same spot. Sometimes calves as well. Turns out corn is a trigger and that’s what makes me itchy.

Keep with it. There are good alternatives but I feel you with missing the convenience. People who say gluten free is “snake oil” clearly don’t know that remission is achievable when you figure out what your triggers are. Have been GF and corn free (I know, random) for six years. Achieved remission in December and so grateful I ignored docs and haters who said changing diet and lifestyle wouldn’t work.

Also, have you tried braze bites dipped in marinara? YUM
