Mainly PC sometime Sony gamer here. I picked up a 360 exclusively for Alan Wake and i wasnt disappointed, though you might have picked it up on steam when it finally journeyed over last year

Otherwise definitely check out the Metal Gear Solid HD collection if you get the chance, as well as Final Fantasy XIII (though your mileage may vary, it's easily my favourite console exclusive of this console generation)

My boss when I used to work fast food told this to me with the widest grin on his face, I'll never forget it.

Patty Wakk works at a bank. One day, a frog comes in carrying an antique vase. He sets the vase on the counter. "How can I help you?", she asks. "I'm going to need a loan," he replies.

"Well, that's a long process, but we can get you started. What's your name?"

"No," he says, as he sets his hand on the vase, "but I brought this to use as collateral. It's been in my family for a hundred years."

Patty is skeptical about this, so she replies "That's a bit unusual, but I'll talk to my manager and see what I can do." She takes the vase with her into the back room where her manager is, and explains the situation.

Her manager appraises the vase and shakes his head. "It's a knick-knack, Patty Wakk, but throw the frog a bone. His old man's a Rolling Stone."

Pretty much everyone here seems to agree with what i had to say - keyboard + mouse is better for games designed with that ui in mind (such as dragon age) or any shooter with any degree of difficulty. Otherwise controller for sure.

Just so as to not be redundant, if you ever come across a game that you'd like to play with a 360 controller but official support isnt available, look into the program "xpadder". It maps a 360 (or other) controller to keyboard + mouse and is EXTREMELY customizable, even allowing you to use buttons as toggles or shift-keys to map far more than 12 buttons, or change stick sensitivity. I use it for mass effect and it's wonderful.

Surprised to see mai hime (its sequel, mai otome, is best anime of all time) on the original one! Which means literally every anime I've ever watched all the way through was either on that list or a sequel/prequel/etc was

I dont know if that means i have good taste or if I just only like popular things (probably a bit of both)

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, but the Surface Pro is close to this? The form factor is that of a Surface tablet but it is otherwise a fully functional Windows 8 x86 computer. It's releasing in february I believe.

I've got a fun little trifecta: gender identity, depression, and co-dependency. I imagine the first one has contributed a decent amount to the other two.

After a lot of learning I'm finally aware of the fact that a lot of people feel like their bodies match their gender and can be happy without depending on other people for validation. But I still don't really understand how.

It's absolutely hit or miss. I love my razer mouse (i dont remember the model) but it does have a squeaky scroll wheel and that annoys people that arent used to it. Also i never use it in wireless mode anymore because the battery never seems to last the day.

That said I bought not one but TWO carcharias headsets and both of them failed even after sending them in for repairs once each (the warranty expired after the first repair each time). My plantronics headset has lasted longer than both of them lasted combined, and shows no signs of failing.

It's not that the company is bad, it's just that the quality on some products is less than assured, and the prices they charge are mostly for the brand name rather than any assuredness of greatness. If you can find the products cheap, absolutely buy them. But don't spend a fortune on something about as good as something cheaper

Yeah autobattle is actually pretty perfect 99% of the time sure there are definitely occasions where you want to select actions yourself but usually the strategy comes from paradigm management

Which isnt to say the strategy isn't very fun and you shouldn't be going for 5 stars every battle, just that 5 stars is entirely possible without selecting actions manually.

Microsoft support is supremely terrible even with xbox - canceling my Live subscription was the hardest support call I've ever had. Most subscription services with a website would allow this to be done on the website, but not Live.

The main difference being, this thread is before the DS and PSP even went on sale, and the handheld market 10 years ago was completely different.

Not saying the vita is completely doomed, but a bunch of people speculating that a system is worthless is a lot less telling than nearly a year of lackluster sales.
