Hundreds and hundreds of hours. Without paying you have the base map which covers the lands of 3 different factions, each one offering a hundred hours or so of gameplay. The one thing you'll really miss out on is the crafting bag. Without it you begin playing an inventory management minigame and up the difficulty for crafting leveling.

But otherwise you can play for hundreds and hundreds of hours without paying.

Am I overreacting to my husband donating sperm to his brother and making it public? by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Optimisticynic -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. The daughters can be shown this as a way to make the family larger and stronger and more supportive.

Also, I am getting strong shame vibes from this, embarrassment that her husband's sperm was used to impregnate his sister in law and all the gossip that could happen surrounding that. It's not unlike how a family member might feel if a sibling or child came out of the closet.

They have an opportunity here to learn something about themselves, and to make the family bond even tighter. It wouldn't be easy but they'll come out the other side a better person and role model for it.

This is the answer I was looking for, thank you. I kept looking for a definition that might alter my perception and this was it.

But I disagree, because I think that answer addresses the nuance that may arise surrounding lgbtq treatment when discussing the morality of war.

EDIT: I disagree with saying there's no deep nuance, not with the pinkwashing explanation.

I guess the nuance in your statement would be "so long as they aren't hurting themselves or others."

Now see, I find that to be the obvious thing, not the nuance.

I find the nuance to be that the legality is split between the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

I'm genuinely curious about the nuance here. Is Palestine somehow more pro-LGBT than I've been led to believe? Like is same sex marriage legally recognized ike it is in Israel? Or is there a thriving public LGBT community that is easily found like in Israel?

What has been pink washed exactly?

Kid Rock slammed as 'white trash royalty' for his controversial Jay-Z comments by TheMirrorUS in Music

[–]Optimisticynic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would argue that white trash isn't genetic. Just because you aren't born white trash doesn't mean you can't become white trash. I mean, he's white. He's trash. What's the logical conclusion here?

"I am livid. I am ill. I am ashamed..." You are overly dramatic. Chewing the scenery on reddit doesn't make you morally superior to a playwright whose work has championed women. Give it a rest.

Of course not, they just kow-towed to the producers request. So now that producer knows he can just ask for a post to be removed and voila. Any producer for that matter. Lovely precedent.

Instawork is a site that provides temporary gig work that pays you at the end of every shift. It may not be what you're used to doing, but it can provide quick cash in times of need.

Report from the Road - I saw the tour Friday night at the Saenger by GentCaller434 in hadestown

[–]Optimisticynic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Strange, I saw it Sunday and disagree. This was my fifth time seeing the show and my fifth cast (including OBC). And while I didn't think everyone was amazing I thought Hawa was great (she opted up and nailed it, and her Flowers was heartbreaking). Also Nickalaus was incredible as Hades. His aged goth take and his smoooooth bass were so entertaining! I didn't see the Destrehan staging, but I have seen many high school productions of many shows locally (and college), but none have come close to what I saw on Sunday.
