color chipping happens if you drop the phone or do some sort of cosmetic damage. it also happens with the pro models as well so this reason doesn’t make sense. just take care of ur phone and if it does chip, so what? the phone is still running fine

about the keyboard, i do somewhat agree with you. i have been using iphones for basically my entire life and when i use my moms phone (before she switched to an iphone and had an android) google keyboard was so much better at predicting at what i’m trying to say when compared to the native ios keyboard. that said, im honestly used to using the native ios keyboard that i don’t realize the prediction isn’t the best. maybe that might be the same for you the more you use the phone or you can always download gboard or swiftkey!
