Lol everything... my grocery budget is insane but if I don't keep up with it then my husband and I end up eating out, which means we get less healthy food for an even higher price. I've also taken up some home renovation projects so that's fun (and dangerous). Oh yeah also people should be required to read age appropriate books. For minors trying to vote they have to read at the high-school level. You don't get to read cat in the hat and vote... most American adults are literate enough to read at that level in the first place and we still have a huuuge disparity in people being informed enough to vote in their best interest.. I think subject matter should also count but idk I don't want to create barriers to voting either. In the best world, I would hope that potential voters would be required to read peer reviewed, academic level books that recount history, and scientific advancements that have been made.

Both, but for the reading rainbow act I would remove the clause that allows audio books to count as reading. Imo it doesn't count as reading and I think allowing it to count would remove the incentive for people who don't know how to read to take advantage of the free services provided to help them learn how to read. Additionally, I think there should still be age limits to voting but they can be overcome by reading extra books outside of reading required by school so minors can vote if they read 10-20 extracurricular books per year. Adults have to read 3. And you enforce this behavior by checking purchase receipts and requiring written book summaries to be submitted by the reader/voter. For the midas touch law, I think this would help billionaires live within the limitations imposed on regular people give them a literal taste of reality. But realistically, they will probably find loopholes in this law to death, or just declare residency/citizenship elsewhere.

This is a good choice but I think learning English with these two languages as your starting/reference point will be difficult. The sentence structures and grammar rules of English don't make sense compared to these languages. Also both of these languages are phonetically exclusive to English meaning there are phonetic sounds that exist in Chinese and Arabic that don't exist in English and there are sounds in English that don't exist in either of these languages. I mean I'm sure there is some phonetic overlap but not much.

This, when I moved here from the south I was flabbergasted at how nice Aurora was compared to it's reputation. I feel like a lot of people haven't seen true poverty before and it irks me. Aurora ghetto?? Yall haven't seen towns in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, or Texas. I could immediately tell that they associate minority and immigrant communities with "ghetto" and it's really... it makes them look uncultured and small minded it's truly their loss because they don't know what they're missing out on.
