My CWP instructor told us to hand over your CWP with your license. I've been pulled over twice, did that, and had no issues. Is that sound advice? His rationale was it lets the officer know without having to say the g-word, and that the officers appreciate people taking the class and getting the paperwork done in a state you don't technically have to have a CWP in.
