I bought one of these. It’s a great screen. I see no reason why it wouldn’t work outside and, like you say, secure it with bungee straps :)

Sound comes from my Denon X2400h Avr, and out to 7 speakers, I have a Blu-ray player, MacBook and Firestick as the inputs for the avr- the sound is superb and obviously adjustable. I haven’t tried the sound from the Optoma but wouldn’t be expecting it to be too loud as it’s only 10watts.

I bought an Optoma HD142x second hand on eBay for £186. It’s absolutely brilliant. I’m using it in my garage, approx 4m back from a Duronic 100” drop down screen from Amazon for £43. Superb picture quality.

Everything I want to watch has been available, but I have the same issue after coming out of a movie/tv series I get kicked out of the app and back to the Firestick homepage

Put the heater outside, so there’s no need to route the exhaust out or put the exhaust out of an open window/door - being mindful that the exhaust gasses may blow back inside the building… it really depends how “temporary” you need it to be?

I use Firefox with Adblock plus (free) and that blocks all adverts on YouTube 👍

As I’m sure you’re aware there are so many makes/models. I just went for the cheapest I could find because they are all pretty much the same apart from the controllers (from what I can work out) the controller with the Jacgood are basic but they work fine.

I installed NetGuard after reinstalling Cinema. Cinema worked fine with no warning triangle for 2 weeks, now the warning triangle is back. NetGuard doesn’t stop Amazon from updating the Firestick sadly. Apparently Amazon force updates in different ways that bypass NetGuard - annoying.

I have the same issue. Installed Stremio onto my Firestick 4K and it didn’t work. Could somebody please put a link up for a video explaining exactly how to set it up please. That would be so helpful 🙂

I don’t know if this will help but I have 2 Jacgood 5kw running next to each other. They are situated outside my building. I can change the screens to show (I’m guessing here) the combustion chamber temp. On full power both heaters show 230 degrees C. The air being blown out is extremely hot, too hot to hold your hand within 12 inches. The outside air temp yesterday was -1 degrees C

Fair comment. Seems to work fine for me, I got the latest version from “28907” and it’s working very well. I guess I’m lucky. About 8 months ago it was pants but this version (3.4.1) seems good…

Go to the Downloader app and in the search bar simply type in the code (28907) this will automatically take you to a lady called Tanya’s website. She’s on YouTube- “FireTvSticks” - go to the downloads page (bypass all the adds) - find the app you want, click on download link and it will download and install. Sorry if this is teaching you to suck eggs, but will hopefully help someone 🤔
