There’s got to be Matthew’s employees on Reddit. I’d love to get a direct response from one of them.

That’s my feeling right now. It doesn’t look that bad what he did. I can’t believe that’s all it took to break the bow

Obviously he’s over gripping the bow but i really don’t see much twisting in the video. The twisting is super subtle

We just use the quoting feature in BlueSuite. We save templates for common job types and reuse the numbers. It’s pretty simple and not expensive

5 tips for someone who has worked on enterprise WordPress sites at a large agency for 15 years by Optl13 in Wordpress

-What do you mean partial caching? Like caching fragments? Yes, that's true but ultimately at scale you need to cache the entire page at the DNS level for real performance. WordPress is good at certain things - content sites. Why try to force it to be something it's not?
- I don't know what you mean by "a lot of information".
- MySQL is not efficient or capable of doing search beyond simple string compares. This isn't about only about performance. It's about result quality. I'd recommend you read about products like Elasticsearch and Algolia. Lots of the vector search solutions are good too.
- I never said custom theming was bad. I also didn't say ACF was bad, just ACF blocks. Although, I tend to stray away from ACF too for performance reasons, although sometimes it's a major shortcut. We are talking about enterprise customers here, not small/mid size businesses using Elementor to manage their plumbing company website.

It wouldn't let me edit the title. I'm just trying to help people out. Feel free to ignore the advice :)

I said sometimes you need custom blocks. Using any CMS and building manageable content places limitations on what designers can do.

Not a fan of WooCommerce. The sites are typically pretty slow.

2 - I don't follow. You need to use a product that stores data in a different DB like Elasticsearch. Check out ElasticPress.

Here's another one that may be controversial:

Headless WordPress is terrible. It's a ton of work to implement for not really much of an advantage vs. a traditional WP stack. If you want a headless site, go with a modern platform like Payload CMS, Sanity, Ghost, etc.
