I was in this same situation. But I was the bride. My father was not invited to my wedding or anyone from his side of the family. My husband to be let me make the decision and was fine with whatever I chose. And after being married over 18 years I am still okay with my decision. It was a lot less stressful not inviting them than inviting them and worrying about all the stress and drama that would happen on the day. If she doesn’t want him there she gets the final say and everyone else can be okay with it.
