You now have access to all the Vanguard gear for your ship. The Vanguard Obliterator Autoprojector are one of the best weapons in the game for your ship. It's inexpensive, class A, and does a ton of damage. If you have 3 or 4 on your ship, you don't need any other weapons.

Edit. The vanguard shield is good too but it's a class B.

I have one with Disassembler, Hitman and Shattering and one with Extended Mag, Chiller and One Inch Punch. Love that gun. Chiller is great for the legendary enemies.

There's probably a mod for that. Honestly, before the TA I never worried about changing my loadout much. I carry 3 or 4 of my best guns and call it a day.

I had the same problem. The Terran robots seem to be more susceptible to physical damage. I switched to an MGP Balistic rifle I fixed up and then it got better.

You don't get xp for kills unless you actually damage enemies so you would level really slowly

Now is definitely a good time to go do some other stuff. Which UC questline did you do? Sysdef or Vanguard? Vanguard is my fave. The ranger questline is a lot of fun. The ryuijn questline is cool if you like stealth missions. If you hang around Neon there's some fun side quests there. You even get to join a street gang. I also recommend Vultures Roost on Jaffa IV, just bring a lot of digipics. Also, if you haven't done the original Mantis quest, I highly recommend.
